⁞ – ⌜BACKGROUND INFORMATION⌟
Growing up in the middle class suburbs of Chicago with an adopted family, black mother and white father, you could say that Dean’s parents were somewhat set. Trust funds for their kids, most of the time they got what they wanted and money was rarely tight. Although, Dean lived in a community where there were hardly any white people, he attended a high school that was predominantly black. He fit right in with the individuals from his school and there was never a dull moment when he came around. He loved to joke, paid attention to his school in the midst of all of his fun and he was well-known with the females. When he turned 17, he entered his first mixed martial arts class with a fellow friend from school and fell in love with the career every since. He became skilled in his craft that he’d soon have to use with guys he didn’t even know, they just wanted to kickstart problems because he wasn’t like them. Black eyes and bruised knuckles and body parts were the usual but he wore them with pride since it was very rare that he lost the said fight.
When he was twenty years old, his girlfriend of two years gave birth to his daughter, Ciaya Collins. Ever since then, he’d been in love with her and wanted to switch his life around from the bad things that he was known for frequently getting himself into. Still attending school, he allows Ciaya to stay with his parents who still live in Chicago while he communicates and visits her on a daily basis throughout the week. His rowdy spirit, which he figures he inherited from his real parents still live through him and show their traits on occasion.

⁞ – ⌜RELATIONSHIPS AND FRIENDSHIPS⌟
TEMPRESS LAMONT + CLOSE FAMILY FRIEND – Ever since they were teenagers in high school, Dean and Tempress were close friends and even though it was their family that brought the two together, they felt that if they met any other way that they’d still be as close as they were already. They basically tell each other everything, crack jokes on each other and their personalities just click. He considers her a true ride or die friend.
AZILEE MAYERS + CLOSE FRIEND – Since moving to Chicago to attend Hendrix, she and Dean share a close relationship as a brother and sister relationship could be panned out. They both know each other like the back of their hands and you can find them always hanging out together and partaking in sibling-like things.
