The vampire had nearly taken his head off, and she’d pushed the other aside in the nick of time, slicing the bloodsucker neatly into two with Asuramaru. If that was how he wanted to play… Well. Two could play at that game.

“Yeah, your imaginary squad is real effective at saving your ass, huh? In case you’ve forgotten, we split up. I am your squad.”

At times it even                                              looked as if he disliked his own squad.
