King Wahlberg!
after long work and work at midnight,he still so damn cute and amazing
There are people in this world who are chosen for greatness. Not for the fortune and fame, but to touch peoples lives like no other can. Donnie was given to some of us so that he could impact our lives and change us forever. For me, it was his message against racism. He spoke about loving all races, wore shirts that said, “Racism is 100% ignorance, and talked about busing in Boston. I even remember him speaking of Martin Luther King and Malcolm X. This may not be a big deal to most. But for a young girl growing up in a small southern town known for segregation and racial tension, it was eye opening. I admit when I first read his words, I was a little afraid for him. To me, making such bold statements could be potentially dangerous. In my world racial jokes were common, inter-racial dating was unheard of, and Klan marched outside my High School. I always despised the hate I was constantly around, but never felt strong enough to stand against it. But reading Donnie’s words began to make me self reflect. He empowered me to slowly speak out. To stand up for what I felt was right. Why was he able to touch me so deeply? I really don’t know. But he did and I am forever grateful for him.
It was a long road and sometimes very painful. I lost friends, was cut off from family members, and even harassed by police a few times. But the inner peace I had made it well worth it. I felt like my life had a purpose. If Donnie could stand before the world, surely I could stand before a small town. Long story short, I have 2 beautiful (bi-racial) children that would never be here if it wasn’t for Donnie. I seen countless peoples minds change, hearts warm, and narrow views open up. My family is happier than ever and my children are surrounded by love. All because a young kid from Boston chose to speak of love. And a young girl from the South chose to listen. To this day,I teach my kids love is ALWAYS the answer. My children’s friends are as diverse as the United Nations and it is a beautiful thing. A kind, wise man once said, “Spread Love and Love Will Spread”. So True, Wahlberg, so true… To me, you are one of God’s most beautiful souls.
