◇ intelligence: Leo notices practical things first. A hand shaking too much to reload. A cough that sounds wet. Someone favoring one side after they swore they were fine. He is not the type to stand around explaining how smart he is, and he usually sounds like he is taking the edge off with a joke, but he pays attention. Years of nursing taught him to read pain, panic, shock, infection, and bullshit before people admit any of it out loud. In a group, that makes him useful. He can calm someone down, patch them up, talk them through fear.
