“ listen , kid , you can just tell me things like a normal person , i won’t bite , ”       roxie’s tone stays flat , hot pink nails being chewed on very delicately between pearly white teeth . roxie lets out a soft chuckle , a sly smirk appearing on her tired face .     “ and here’s the thing , yeah ? i barely understood a word you just told me . you talk so low . what am i possibly going to do to you ? what are you scared of ? that i’ll break your legs ? beat you with a crowbar ? ” very possibly , yes , actually . “ you’re like ‘ i’m just saying ’ this , that , but you’re barely saying anything at all . so we’ll speak at normal volumes like normal people and maybe we can get along in this dumb fucking project , yeah ? i already failed this class once , and i don’t want to do it again . ”

i’m alive! i’m alive! hello everyone! sorry for being gone for a while, but it felt so nice to just not be involved in social media for a while. I’m recovering from some really awful events in my life, and it’s been really rough trying to deal with this stuff, but I’ve reached out, got some help and I’ve been able to get back on my two feet again and I feel so much better. 

That being said, I’ll be returning but with very selective and sporadic activity, as before I was putting way too much pressure on myself. I want to be able to have fun and also take it easy on myself.

“   yeah ,   i  like  them .   they’re  pretty  cool ,   great  sound .   almost  made  the  effort  to  see  them  in  brockwell  park  but  i  honestly  could  not  be  fuckin’  arsed  to  go  all  the  way  to  london .   ”   he  shrugs  then  places  the  album  back  in  the  shelf .   his  attention  drifts  back  to  the  devo  album .   he  only  has  a  single  from  them .   for  some  odd  reason ,   he’s  been  extremely  keen  on  grabbing  singles  rather  than  full - length  albums .   with  one  hand ,   he  flicks  through  the  selection ,   hardly  registering  the  names  or  titles .   they  all  blur  together  in  the  end .   “   i  prefer  buzzcocks  over  them ,   though .   they’re  one  of  my  absolute  favourite  bands .   bit  biased ,   actually .   hometown  bands  are  higher  in  my  book .   ”

“ yeah , that makes sense . unfortunately , my hometown doesn’t really have a lot of good bands . the punk scene was alright , we had Useless Pieces of Shit before i moved , ” roxie tears open a bag of chips , popping one in her mouth and crunching . she continues to talk with a full mouth .       “ good big bands barely come through here either , but when they do , they usually come through the store and hang with fans or whatever . it’s pretty cool . i’ve met a lot of cool people since i started here . it might be grimey and on the low - end , but it sure has it’s perks . ”
