Theory: The title was the key all along…

So this is the first time I’m posting a theory for Killing Stalking, and before I start this is just my theory. I have no idea if this is right. We don’t exactly read this manhwa to be proven right in the first place. 😂 Anyways! Was the name “Killing Stalking” foreshadowing the ending all along??

First off I haven’t seen a lot of people analyze what the name Killing Stalking could mean. Sure I use to be one of the many who thought the “killing” part was for Sangwoo and the “stalking” part was for Bum, but think about this…what if Killing Stalking is the story of how koogi was Killing Bums Stalking?

We are first introduced to Yoonbum as a stalker, and the main focus or protagonist of this story. This his story of how his stalking led him to a…not so good experience with a killer. Even though you could argue as the story progresses the manhwa become more third person, the focus is always on Bum. We see this even in the special episode where Bum is running up and down hallways looking for something…or someone…Sangwoo.

Bums stalking led him to break into Sangwoos house, and eventually become Sangwoos everything. Bum is so hooked on Sangwoo that he’s willing to go to any lengths to please Sangwoo, (the true testament of a stalker). Bum already had deep feelings for Sangwoo before…the basement…so mixing the bit of stockholm syndrome with his stalkerish love, and we have our story line. Mind vs heart. In a way, our stalker got exactly what he wanted from Sangwoo in the beginning. Attention, and (some) sense of worth.

Bum never truly got over his stalkerish tendencies either. We can see in the final chapter that Bum goes as far as to break out of the hospital and risk being caught by the police, all to once again see Sangwoo. He has to see Sangwoo, he has to give him the present…he has to be Sangwoos obsession again. Bum is still stalking Sangwoo to the very end. Bum can’t live without Sangwoo anymore, and I believe if he did live it would be a painful existence. Then, the cross light turns red, and the stalking (or stalker) is killed. I believe that is why Bum has to die, and it’s the only logical ending that makes sense with this story.

As much as we all wanted Bum to be happy in the end, he wasn’t innocent either. This story was the the rise and fall of Yoonbum. This is why the manhwa starts and ends with him. It all came full circle in the end. Koogi killed Bum softly with Sangwoo’s song. But that’s just my theory about it! We’ll have to wait and see what our lord Koogi says about it next week in her authors note. Until then, please keep KS Thursdays alive!! Never let them die! 😭😭😭

I just realized...

Here’s the deal.

Economics formula is nothing like reality.

We were learning Real Exchange rate yesterday.

Then, suddenly I’ve got an idea:

How many Big Macs can Taiwan ( why? Because I was born there ) buy in the U.S( why the US? It’s quite easy to be criteria)?

So, what is real exchange rate? 

( it’s a statistic rate to measure a country’s trade to another country )

So we know that 1 NT( Taiwan’s dollar ) = ( roughly ) 0.033 US dollars

A Big Mac in Taiwan is 69 NT ( roughly 2.277 US dollars )

A Big Mac in the US is 5.28 US dollars?! ( OMG )

So the Real Exchange rate between the two places is

 ( 0.033 USD / 1 NT ) x ( 69 NT / 5.28 USD ) = 0.43 

So, a Big Mac in Taiwan equals 0.43 Big Mac in the US!

Imagine these two places sitting together in McDonald's.

Taiwan: You have to eat the same price amount as me.

( America eats 0.43 Big Mac, proceeds to eat more.)

Taiwan: Stop!!!! That’s enough 

( snatches USA’s burger away while finishing the whole Big Mac he/she orders )

That’s probably why lots of foreigners become rich in Taiwan.

Damn exchange rates.
