He is marching with thousands of others to try repeal the 8th amendment in Ireland. Our bodily autonomy laws are archaic and we are striving so hard to have them changed.

A woman cannot choose to abort a foetus if it threatens her life, but a farmer can legally abort a calf for the same reason.

If a woman is raped and becomes pregnant, she is forced to carry that child to term. If she tried to source the abortion pill or travel to the UK where abortion is legal, she can be jailed for up to 14 years.

So if you wanna know what Hozier is up to, don’t go looking in bogs. Instead visit the Abortion Rights Campaign website and show your support for Irish women trying to achieve basic rights. Be like Hozier.
