As dark as the hearts of Arcana has become… Daehyun thought about Thunder and how priceless he was as an entire being; he thought about how Changsun had changed in the amount of time the four of them were separated for… and he thought about how Jiyong no longer cared about them like they used to for one another. The cells giving them solitude was the only memory they shared of their past; Daehyun looked at the older one and tilted his head.
"I haven’t a heart, Jiyong," Daehyun rubbed at the nape of his neck and pressed his lips together as his gaze turned away. "Shouldn’t you know that? We’re dead, after all."
Robbed of their innocence, childhood, and a life in general, Arcana have always suffered the worst of everything. As the eldest of the group, Jiyong had responsibilities but those responsibilities became gruesome in the eye of the beholder - Jiyong no longer cared or gave himself to the emotions of his younger siblings as he did then. The dragon observed Daehyun's features. He looked the same as he did a few hundred years ago, maybe a little tired due to their recent circumstances, and especially with how popular Daehyun had become as of late.
"Mm, yeah, I understand that but what I don't is why you're still in that body." The lifestyles of humans were considered useless not to mention pointless to Jiyong, who cared little about those creatures to begin with, so seeing his dongsaeng in the body of his counterpart only made his mind reel.
