I’m moving this blog over to become a sideblog to @vigiilantem so that I don’t have to juggle two accounts... I feel as though this would be much more manageable with the little amount of activity it has and I wouldn’t forget to get online more often <3

Her mother would never cease to amaze or surprise the young hybrid, even after all this time apart. “I’ve missed you so much.” The girl croaked out through her own high running emotions, blue eyes brimming. What did it matter if they showed their vulnerability to one another? No one was around. No one to bother or harm them again. Just a mother and a daughter wordlessly admitting they wanted to fix whatever broken connection they barely made.

“How are you?” She asked after pulling back some, small arms still draped loosely around her mother.

   “Fine... Better, now,”  She admitted. She’d spent so many nights worrying for her daughter, wondering where she was and if she was warm enough, if she’d eaten, if she had a bed to sleep in or who she was with... “How’re you?”    She took in a deep breath to calm herself, to stop the tears from falling, as her pale hands raised and cradled the girl’s cheeks. She took the time to delicately move Eve’s hair from her face and finally Selene began to smile.

   “Where the hell have you been?”  She could feel her heart racing and despite her angry exterior she was relieved that he was okay. During the fight they’d been separated and she’d tried to find him, she’d tried her hardest, but he seemed to have vanished... Yet there he was before her, unharmed, with that somehow captivating stare.   “I looked everywhere for you!”

   She couldn’t stop herself. The instant she laid eyes on that young girl, unharmed and healthy, she strolled to her and wrapped her arms immediately around her and pulled her in close to her chest. Dark hues clenched shut and she struggled to steady her breathing, to stop some tears from falling...   “Thank God you’re safe...”
