a friend told me this song sounds like being on acid at las vegas while watching an elvis impersonator and slowed down to half-speed.

another friend told me i rap in this, while i wouldn’t call it that exactly, i have been influenced by hip hop in general (especially some wu-tang solo albums) while making this newer music

the music was written during a period of transition from Pan (old gods) to Toru (new gods), and very inspired by japanese music and ancient culture, or more exactly, the way i imagine ancient cultures to be: an enchanted and dionysian-like cult, dancing and chanting around magnificient bonfires

there has been a loose story beneath the surface of the music of Pan, who has now become Toru, the god whom inhabits and controls Pan...

Toru is about the meeting of these new and old gods and the next section, Damyata, will revolve around the control that Toru has placed upon Pan and the eventual coalescence of their souls. 

Toru will be released this summer on cassette with artwork beautifully made by Kaeghoro 

digital files will be made available through white window on bandcamp.
