matt murdock - the man marci had seen chug an entire smirnoff ice in college after someone dared him - had managed to sucker some poor assistant to go out with him. marci’s known these boys longer than karen, and it takes a hell of a lot to change matt & foggy both, but props to the woman who succeeds in holding matt’s attention for longer than a few months. manicured nails wrap around her cocktail as emerald irises bore into the other blonde.

          blue eye stare at the girl next to her, blinking more times than necessary. she’s not usually caught off guard by girl’s like marci.. but then again, she’s not entirely sure she’s ever met a girl like marci. there’s a wit on her tongue that rivals anyone within a 100 mile radius. if they had originally met under different circumstances.. karen thinks she could have enjoyed the woman’s company, maybe even admired her. any woman that wasn’t afraid to stand up against the men, in any profession, was a hero in karen’s eyes. but she still holds some resentment, not letting elena’s memory die with the reign of wilson fisk. and yet.. there’s a part of her that refuses to put the blame on marci’s shoulders. at the end of the day, she had helped.

my blog being semi-private, selective or private does not mean i believe myself to be better than anyone else nor does it mean i am not open to writing with someone outside of my ‘comfort circle’ / most common writing partners. the following is what it means or could mean:

i simply do not have a strong muse for this character / these characters and thus i limit my interaction.

i have anxieties or discomfort and prefer to only write with other writers i know well or have known for awhile and thus trust — or new writing partners i feel i have writing chemistry with.

i have a busy life that limits my schedule and or availability to spend hours writing / roleplaying, so i limit who i write with.

i am not sure if this is a muse that will hit it off for me and be strong at all so i am limiting those i write with while i figure that out.

i have a ( conceivably large ) number of followers and it is impossible to interact with every single one of them without overwhelming myself.

i am forgetful of drafts / replies or i am simply slow with them.

any other possible situation that a person might have, it shouldn’t matter because it is their blog, their muse, their life and their choice.

it will pretty much never mean any of the following:

i don’t like you.

i don’t like your character.

i think i’m better than you or other writers.

i am trying to be rude or elitist.

please do not assume that these are my reasons or that this is the situation. please understand that people have their reasons and the idea that it is a malicious one is most probably not the case.
