➶ - After a moment of pondering the archer replied with a sharp nod. Hanzo was perfectly capable of taking care of himself; history had proven this, but Talon was a large organization which seemed to grow with the day. He’d be kidding himself to think that they’d leave him alone. And as much as the Reaper’s presence irked him, Hanzo had to admit that he preferred to have him as an ally rather than a foe. He seemed to have his own methods anyway, not fully controlled by his Talon superiors.

“I will accept your offer, under the condition that whatever you ask of me won’t harm my brother.”

        With how much pride the other supposedly had, the reaper didn’t expect any cooperation, but a confident nod came. The mercenary probably weighed his odds against such a large organization that poured out bulks of agents that could bother him to the ends of the earth. A good choice, none the less. ❝ At least you’re smart. ❞ Denying the offer and going on his own meant two things: Talon still on the archer’s tail, and Reaper possibly having to go after him. It’d be tedious for them both. ❝ .. I haven’t thought of what I want in return yet, but I assure you. It won’t involve Genji. That tin can is no threat. ❞

      Despite their history, Hanzo still cared for the brother. It intrigued Reaper - how could they get along despite all that had happened? The older betrayed the younger. It would only make sense for revenge to play a part. Yet it didn’t. That, the wraith will never understand.

      He’d make fun of this favor. The reaper lifted a hand and motioned for the archer to follow before turning, walking away toward where he knew was a Talon base of operations. ❝ Follow me if you want to live. ❞ Yeah, he was dramatic.

      THE VISIT ISN’T QUITE EXPECTED – of course it’s easy to run into each other around the base && he’s making a nice effort to look busy whilst obviously checking up on the woman. 

     it’s not something that takes away from her good mood – only heightened as she finds herself amused at the question && appearance of the other shadow of talon. her cheerful moods were her own && in all honesty it took a lot to tear her down once she sat there – juicy intel && newly gained “friends” always made her that way ( very different from what makes most people happy but it’s her own ). 

      with a soft, very amused laugh, she makes her way over to him – leaning in only to press a finger to the middle of his mask.

      ❝ i am. why? are you jealous? you know, you can smile too, gabe. try it some time. ❞

      He should’ve known she’d take the curiosity of his and turn it into an awfully annoying tease. She couldn’t just answer his question. She had to make it uncomfortably complicated. An irritated grow made its way out of his mask as his hand shot up to hers, swatting it away from contact with mask. ❝ I’m not jealous. ... And I told you. Don’t call me that. ❞

         It bothered him when she called him Gabe. Sure, that was his name, but he wanted it to die when he died back in Zurich - he was Reaper, a mechanism of Death that took away all those deserving of death. ...She just couldn’t stop using it to get under his skin. ❝ Why are you, then. ❞ Cheerful. Reaper wouldn’t leave without getting an answer. And he wasn’t jealous.

I love battle couples ok.

Fighting side by side. Trusting each other completely. Trying to protect each other. Casual banter in the middle of a fight. Their teamwork. Sparring each other to keep their skills sharp. Getting uncontrollably angry if the other gets hurt. Kissing each other when they’re victorious.

I seriously have a thing for battle couples.

☕ - Tea or Coffee?  How do they take theirs?

     - Coffee.Gabriel can’t function without his coffee. He enjoys different types of coffee, but Turkish Black with a splash of milk is his favourite. One can find him drinking coffee not only in the morning, but even late at night as well. Rarely will he drink tea, but if he does, it’s usually the ‘Sleepytime White’ with a dollop of honey.

🎩 - Usual Outfit

     - His usual outfit outside his Reaper uniform, is usually his favourite grey beanie, his grey hoodie, and some form of sweats or basketball shorts ( you know those reaper basketball shorts Blizzard has on sale in the store? Yeah, he has a pair of those. Emblem and all. He made them himself for his basketball activities ) . Under his hoodie is either Under Armor shirt or black tank top. He’s casual - not only does it keep attention off of him, but it keeps him easily blended in with the public.

👶 - As a kid, what were they like?

     - Gabriel grew up a Catholic boy and only his ma was in the picture, dad left before he was born; he would only see his ma during the summer months. When he wasn’t in LA with her, he would be on a small border town near Mexico with his abuela ( & primos ) who kept him close to God and familia. Being in this type of environment, he grew up to be the ‘man of the family’ who took care of the women (ma & abuela), a common expectation in Hispanic culture—as years went by and he became a teen, he was the strong and logical person in the family. Being quiet and behaved came with this and it wasn’t until he got older and approached the military that he got to grow out of that role more and more.

🍭 - Do they have a sweet tooth?

     - Desserts, candy, sweets aren’t particularly his thing, but when he sees sugar/cinnamon covered donuts in the break room, cookies, or small hard candies, (ie. jolly ranchers, hard caramels, butterscotch) he will grab some to go just to have on hand. Consider it a mild sweet tooth that comes up ever so often.

While true, the real reason she’d hadn’t gone back to Overwatch was the fact her intel had shown that her son had joined their ranks now.  To return would mean Akane would have to face him and undo all the lies that she and Overwatch proper had fed her son to protect him.  She didn’t know if she could handle that yet…

“So why are you here?” she hissed, burying the guilt again, “We both know that you aren’t here as a courtesy.”

        ❝ Really think they’d trust you after this time? You’re just another stranger. ❞ It didn’t matter which organization she choice, either would have faces that wouldn’t trust her, that would see her as a threat, or would see her as a reconditioned spy. No one would trust her blindly. ❝ I’m returning the favor and offering a thriving career to play with me. ❞ He’d get as much from her as possible before killing her. Sure, she hadn’t gone back to Overwatch, but it was only a matter of time before she sucked it up and would crawl on back. They always did: Overwatch and its perfection. like as much as i love icons and a good psd, sometimes its just tasking to do. and not everyone has great resources. so if you’re okay with having threads with no icons, please reblog this so that people know you’re okay with it. i feel like roleplayers today are too focused on the aesthetics and won’t follow people who use base icons or even none at all. it’s not about icons, but about the writing !!
