what you do for a living, I want to know what you ache for, what your heart craves.
As for me, I wish to be a child of the akhirah. My heart aches for days of righteousness and faith, days outlined by Allahās Words and His messengerās teachings, to live amongst poor and needy, orphan and widow; thankful for His blessings..attempting, with every heart beat, to pay back portions of His favours upon me. I crave a hereafter where I can stand before my Lord, exclaiming āya Allah ! Ya Allah this is what I have done !ā in order to gain His Mercy and Pleasure.
how old you are, I want to know if you are willing to risk looking like a fool in the eyes of the people for your dreams and ambitions.
As for me, the people of this world can laugh and mock at the path Iāve chosen. Normality never caught my attention; walking a smooth path that millions have walked only to reach a finish line that far too many have reached and celebrated is something that has never appealed to me.
You see, this decorated world misleads and disappoints, eludes and kills people with its false hopes and deceptions. Had there been any good in this world and its āaccomplishmentsā, then Allah, the Beneficent, would have made it a place of reward, and a place of dissension of His mercy ā¦but Allah only sent one of His mercies upon the earth and rather He has made it a place of trial and tribulation; a true prison for the believer.
So Iāll gladly walk, climb, fall and trip upon my still-unpaved path, threading it while convinced of my choice, honoured by the tribute of sacrificing this world for the face of My Creator and Sustainer. Iāll strive whilst knowing that the smile I draw on a sistersā face, the hand I place on an orphansā head, the bite I place in a poor oneās mouth are actions more beloved to my Lord and actions that are more likely to grant me His Garden than a degree obtained to please my parents or a job thatāll eventually buy me the world.
ā¦if you can live with failure, yours and mine then get up and try again, giving it all it takes.
As for me, giving up has never and will never be an optionā¦
