When Eric met Gina he had a crush right away.Ā This wasnāt surprising, since he found Gina really attractive, even though she was older.Ā What surprised Eric (though it shouldnāt have) was that Gina was interested in him.
āIām flattered,ā Gina told him, while Eric thought he should be the one saying that.Ā āNow that Iām in my thirties, I thought someone your age would never be interested.āĀ In fact, Gina was being a little bit coy, since she would actually be forty before not much longer. Ā Eric had some inkling of this and had added a couple of years, claiming to be 22 instead of his real-life 19.Ā In any case, both were thrilled with their budding relationship.
Not that it was budding for long - several long evenings and mornings together, bracketing heady trips to bed, rapidly reduced the secrets between them.Ā Gina soon heard how Eric had lost his mother at a young age.Ā āSometimes,ā Gina said, āWhen we miss a normal part of our life, we want to reenact it when weāre older - at least, thatās what Iāve heard.ā
āI think thatās true,ā Eric replied.Ā āI know I feel that way sometimes.ā
āIf you decide you want me to be your āMomā sometimes, just let me know - Iām sure we can figure it out,ā Gina assured him.
So they did.Ā Soon they were acting as completely devoted to each other as a real mother and son, with Gina becoming protective and Eric feeling the need to be obedient - at least, most of the time.Ā Gina set some boundaries, which Eric had been lacking, especially since moving out of the house, simple things like calling when heād be late, getting to bed when he had class the next day, using a respectful tone, and cleaning up his language.Ā In her role as a manager at her company, Gina knew what kinds of behaviors Eric would need to succeed someday.
Some days, though, Eric just didnāt feel like going along with it.Ā Gina could tell from the way he argued over every little thing - but she had a very simple solution, the wooden spoon.Ā She told Eric that, sometimes, when he didnāt do as Gina said, āMomā might have to smack his naughty backside.Ā Eric, happy with having Gina play Mom, complained but didnāt really argue.Ā When Mom threatened, Eric straightened up.Ā Oh, he got a good scolding now and then - but thatās what it was.Ā Not an argument but a one-way lecture from his older, wiser Mom.
Of course, no one can walk that line forever.Ā Soon enough, Gina gave him āthe lookā, then the warning, then the threat.Ā None of them seemed to register.Ā It was time to get out the wooden spoon.Ā Taken by the wrist, Eric found himself across his girlfriendās lap, protests and whining ignored.Ā He should have known from how tightly Gina held him down just how little he was going to enjoy this!Ā His jeans came down and his underwear was next, despite his cries of āPlease, not that!ā and a heartfelt āDonāt!ā.Ā
The first smack of the spoon was an awakening - it HURT!Ā Not like Eric thought it might hurt - it REALLY hurt!Ā And within seconds it had hurt a dozen more times - and hurt even more!Ā Whining and protests turned into tearful begging and heartfelt promises in essentially no time!
When Gina stopped less than a minute later and set him on his feet, Ericās bottom felt more naked than it ever had before!Ā It was hot and stinging even as he rubbed furiously and in spots it was sore down deep.Ā He was crying, tears leaking down his face from shock, embarrassment, and, to a lesser extent, just the pain!
āNow, young man,ā Gina scolded, āDo we have an understanding of what will happen when you chose not to heed my warnings?ā
āYes, Mom - Iām sorry,ā Eric sniffed and hiccupped.
āMaybe my āguidelinesā need to be ārulesā and my āsuggestionsā need to be ādecisionsā from now on,ā Gina suggested.Ā āHow does that sound?ā
āOkay, Mom.Ā That soundsā¦ good, Mom,ā Eric confirmed.
āAnd you know where the wooden spoon is keptā¦ and now you know Iāll use it if I have to - donāt you?ā
āYes, Mom.Ā Iām sorry, Mom.ā
āOf course you are, sweetie.Ā Now come here,ā Gina told him, wrapping him up in a big hug.
That day was big progress for Eric and Gina.Ā Now Eric knew exactly what would happen if he went too far - and he didnāt want it to!
That doesnāt mean that he never didā¦ like that day at the park when she started talking with some guys and really took his time coming back.Ā He tried to play it off with a laugh but that quickly turned to begging as Gina turned into āMomā and told him what was what!
Eric had to straighten out pretty fast to keep from having his butt bared on the spot - would Gina do that?Ā He didnāt want to find out that the answer was yesā¦
It was bad enough when they got home!
