Yonesch's confidence was pretty shaken after the injury, sometimes you need a little win.

Capped off an absolutely frigid weekend with a couple Piquarells. Trying out some simpler shading techniques and less soft lighting/shading in general. I dig it, a simpler approach gels a little better with my style, I think I'll leave more complex rendering to the experts haha

Tried out some new ideas the other day, used a pose reference (what a concept), really like how this one turned out!

Yonesch is Piquarell's work buddy, and due to an unexpected injury, is going to have to swap roles for an upcoming job. With Piq running the route, she'll take over comms; doing her best to guide him through his first gig as an interdimensional courier!

Having a good time working on this new character to go along with Piquarell! Haven't fully figured out her design (or given her a name yet lol) but I think she'll be a fun addition to the roster!

Sketch page turned into a character ref, while I think Piq's design still has some more work to do, I'm much happier with him getting a bit more complex, especially with an eventual transition to 3D happening at some point.

When the right side of your brain wants to make a story-heavy RPG and the left side wants to make a much smaller game about golf.

But actually I've been more and more keen on getting back into game dev, and been thinking about what kind of games could be feasible as a solo creator. I kinda dig the idea of making a spinoff game for a series that doesn't exist.
