About me~

Hello! I'm Hannah and if you stumbled upon my blog - welcome! I'm glad you're here 🥰

A little about me: I love coffee, tea, purple, pink, and pastel colors. I struggle with fatigue, major depression, anxiety, and C-PTSD but don't let my weaknesses hold me back or define who I am. I LOVE to create and although I've had some major slumps with my mental health, I always find myself going back to it. When I'm not creating, I enjoy spending time with my closest friends and family. I also love video games (cozy indie games are my favorite), reading, music, collaborating with characters or story ideas, and watching Bob's Burgers, old TV shows, or anime.

My projects: Skyglass (main): middle grade fantasy series I'm currently writing about a bunch of fae kiddos. Premise: A young orphaned girl learns she’s from a magical world. But she must make an important choice—stay in her comfort zone and let fear control her, or step up and help change the course of history in her new world.

Project Burley: was a collaborative project I started on Instagram in 2019. It's about a creative arts school that houses middle school through high school students in a world where creativity is severely looked down on. This project has officially come to an end (in 2025) but I still love my kiddos deeply from this project, so I'm sure I'll post more about them. And if you're ever interested in reading my short stories and learning even more about my kids, links to my stories are at the bottom of this post and in my linktree.

TBN "Oreo" project (side): another story I've got in development that'll probably turn into a book. Premise: After being sent to a school for young criminals and social outcasts, Theo must team up with the eccentric Orly. Because their school isn't what he thought it was, and they are all in danger of being turned into weapons of war for their country. (I'll use the "Project Oreo" tag for this now).

AND I'm bound to post about miscellaneous other characters and story ideas. Since I play around with a lot -- but those above are my most consistent/serious ones at the moment.

Other interests: In case you couldn't already tell, I'm passionate about original characters, stories, and content. It's not that I hate fan made content (and you're bound to see fan art reblogged on my side blog sometimes), but there is something truly special about original ideas so that is where my main interest lies. I really hope to find many original character artists and writers here to love and support.

I'm also a huge advocate for mental health and strive to be a light in this dark, chaotic world. I plan to make my blogs safe, happy places for anyone to enjoy who shares common interests with me.

No matter the mental struggles, the chronic health issues, the debilitating trauma, the grief or pain you're going through...

Goldie appreciation post 💛

I need to draw my golden girl again soon :')) she's definitely one of my favorite girls to draw. I've got a whole list of ideas for her that I'll get around to some day, once my art routine gets a little more regular. We're getting there 👏

This is Oreo btw! Aka Theo and Orly 💕

Their story idea was actually born out of frustration. (Not the first of my ideas to come out of anger either XD Skyglass started in a similar way, but I'll get into that some other day). But anyway -- I was so sick and tired of the message that keeps showing up in modern media about being independent and not needing other people. A lot of love stories are getting twisted or changed to elevate and praise independence. Which sure, independence has its place, but we shouldn't have to knock other people down to get there. And male characters especially keep getting shoved out of the way and stripped of important roles in stories! It REALLY bothers me. Especially as someone who has always liked and related to male characters more, regardless of my gender. It makes me mad and hurts my heart.

So, Oreo's main theme is going to be how needing someone is a strength - NOT a weakness. That being vulnerable and loving someone else doesn't make you any less of a person. That even with a partner, you can do great things. And how both people in a partnership can play an important role without stepping on the other person.

It's also going to be an enemies to lovers story, because I love the trope and wanted my side project to have it since my main project moreso focuses on found family. So yeah!! I'm really looking forward to developing their story more and drawing them outside of this meme doodle lol

I can't believe it's that time of year again 🎄

The holiday season is actually hard on me. It always brings up a lot of past trauma and feelings of deep sadness so my mental health always dips sob. But I try to fight it with creativity best I can to get myself into the spirit and focus on what's good.

I've got some new, cute Christmas-y art in development too. But for now I'll share this one from a couple years ago with Taren (my Christmas boy).

Here are some of my favorite drawings I've done of my son, Jacob Anderson ✌

He was/is one of my main kiddos in the collab project (Project Burley) I started on Instagram forever ago. At the moment the project is on hiatus, but I've been slowly making progress on some of the arcs I still wanted to write. And this kid is near and dear to my heart so I'd love to get more of his story down. I sort of left him in a not so great place with Maple.

The blonde girl, Maple, also belongs to me 💜

The other boy is JD and he belongs to @janiceamoh :)) He's one of Jacob's closest friends 💞

This is my character Brexley from the series I'm currently writing 🥰

The bottom one is my art, and the top was created by the lovely @sakuraartist (on Instagram).

Since I decided to start another blog primarily for reblogs, I'm using Sakura's art as my icon over there so it connects to this one with the same character. Which made me want to share the full thing - because she did such an amazing, beautiful job on my girl!

Brexley is a bit of a brat and starts out as an antagonist in my series. But honestly, characters like that are my favorite to write, so it's been a lot of fun developing her.

Michael was gifted a power where whatever he draws comes to life for a limited amount of time. And it just so happens he enjoys drawing fantastical creatures ✨
