[ Hi! Thanks for following. For some reason, I couldn't send you an ask, but would you like to role-play? I'd love to role-play with your dark Doctor. :)
Rose watched as the Doctor paced across the hallway and back, listening to him rant. They were trapped in the future, and right now, they were in a community centre, waiting to see about a house to rent. “Calm down, Doctor. We’ll figure it out, just like we always do, yeah? For now we just need to get by until we figure it out. I’ll get a job to keep the house, okay? We’ll be back in no time.”
The Doctor stopped walking, still running his fingers through his hair in frustration. She was right at some point, there was nothing they could do for now. But still, something just didn’t fit and it was bothering him to death. “That’s not the problem, Rose! I know we can perfectly stay here for as long as we want, but the thing is, this cannot be a real place. There’s no record of it in the TARDIS, it’s not even detected by it. It shouldn’t be possible.”
"Can this wait until we find a place?" Rose asked quietly. "People are starting to get nervous cause o' your rantin'." Before she could say anything else, Rose was called towards the desk. With the credit stick the Doctor provided, she was able to secure a fairly modern and new flat, and was handed the keys. "Thank you," she smiled to the woman, before leading the Doctor out. "Okay, so now we've got a place, I'm gonna go to the TARDIS an' pack some stuff. I know you'll probably stay on the TARDIS, but I wanna try this."
Rose stared down at the toddler like child, now wearing the Doctor's leather jacket and jumper, which now pooled around the child's feet. He still looked the same, but obviously younger. Rose was stunned. What was she supposed to do? "Doctah? Are you ... Okay?" This was most definitely a weird situation.
The young boy looked up at her with a frown, “What’s going on?” He didn’t like being in strange places with strange people, “Who are you?”
When Theta finished the food and drink he stayed sitting at the table, unsure of what to do as he didn’t want to upset Rose by wondering off.
After being assured by her mother and giving her advice, Rose took a breath before returning to the kitchen. “Okay, is there anythin’ else ya need? Like a nap, or somethin’? Tell me what you’d like ta do and I’ll do it.”
"I want to go back." The Doctor pouted, "Go and play and explore." He got a glint in his eye as he got up and started to look around.
"Go back?" Rose questioned, though she guessed where it might be, and felt a lump in her throat. "To Gallifrey, ya mean?" Great, how could she tell a seven year old that his planet didn't exist anymore? "Um, y'see, this test, it's kinda permanent, bein' on the TARDIS an' all. They changed the age to seven instead of eight."
Rose stared down at the toddler like child, now wearing the Doctor's leather jacket and jumper, which now pooled around the child's feet. He still looked the same, but obviously younger. The Doctor climbed onto a chair and nodded, “I’ll be fine, miss.” He muttered before digging into the food and swinging his legs, wondering who she would be calling.
"You can call me Rose," she said gently, before leaving the room. Once in the hallway, she called Jackie. "Mum, I need your help. The Doctor’s been turned into this seven year old kid an’ I have no idea what to do. What the hell do I do?!"

The Doctor got dressed and then followed her to the kitchen, perking up at the mention of banana bread, “I like bananas.” He muttered, “But we don’t have them often.”
Rose listened as she cut up some slices of the bread and buttering them, as well as slicing an actual banana, placing it on the plate. “Here ya go,” she said, pushing the plate towards him, getting them both a glass of orange juice. “Will you be alright here for a minute? I just need ta make a quick phone call.”

Theta huffed, it sounded stupid but who was he to argue with the council? He looked at her hand before waldking forward, “Show the way then.”
Still as stubborn as ever, Rose showed Theta to the closet, where the TARDIS had kindly laid out clothes that were his size. Rose couldn’t help but smile at mini leather jacket and jeans. She waited outside the changing rooms until he was done, and gave him a tour on the way to the kitchen. “So, what do you want to eat? I made some banana bread the other day, it should be okay to eat.”

Theta frowned and shook his head, “I wasn’t told about at this test.” It was possible, but no one had talked about it. He looked down and nodded, “Where’s the closet?”
"I’ll show you," Rose said politely, getting to her feet and extending her hand. "Don’t worry, I won’t look. This test is new, and possibly temporary. They’re working out how it could be done in the future."

"He’s my friend - best friend." The Doctor frowned, "Why am I on a TARDIS? I’m too young, haven’t even looked at the Vortex." He looked around, not really sure what to do, "I’m Theta."
"Theta?" Rose questioned, frowning a little. Was that his real name? "Okay, ‘Theta’, this is … This is a test okay, to see if ya can handle bein’ on the TARDIS. C’mon, we need ta get you some clothes that fit. D’you want somethin’ ta eat?"

"Who’s he? You’re in the TARDIS, and you’re safe okay? My name is Rose, an’ I’ll look after you until we can fix this. You’re not supposed to be a kid. Is there anythin’ ya need right now?"

Falling in Love With You || masterfulcrown
Since being kidnapped by the Master, it was several days before he decided to remove the rope and gag. She was evidently surprised, even more so when she was told that she had free rein of the house, as long as she promised not to go outdoors, or use the computers. Of course she agreed, as she didn't want to be restrained for much longer. He even had the decency to heal the wounds that the ropes had made, as her wrists were raw and bloody.
On the first day of her freedom, Rose showered, and changed into a pair of sweatpants and a simple black tank top, before tying her hair into a high ponytail. She then explored her surroundings, and discovered that she was in a modern London town house. It was certainly homey and cosy, but to Rose, it was still her prison. The Master had several maids, whom cleaned and polished the rooms everyday around them, and a personal chef, who was currently cooking a mushroom and ham omelette. But Rose wasn't interested in eating right now, she wanted to speak to the Master. She asked the chef 'Louie', where he might be, and he suggested the study. After breakfast, Rose went to the study, and knocked on the door quietly, awaiting a response.
"Mmmph!"
"Pardon Miss Tyler? Mumbling really is an awful habit."
Rose glared at the Master, squirming in her bonds, feeling the rope cut into her wrists. In the end, she managed to kick over a vase to get his attention.
"Please, manners," he scolded, looking down at her, his eyes showing the anger he was holding back.
Rose continued to glare at the Master, wondering how far she could push him until he responded. This time, she was able to kick him, between the legs. Hard.

"Rose?" Clara asked, voice high pitched in surprise at the sight of her friend. She hurried towards her, taking the gag off. "Are you all right?"
"No," she lied, flexing her hands when they were freed. "M’fine. Really, I’m okay."
Rose pulled herself up, brushing off her jacket. “How are we supposed to get out if he’s still here? We won’t be able to take him down ourselves, he’s too strong.”
"I’ll get someone from the medical team to take a look, anyway," Clara told her quietly. It was better to be safe than sorry. She’d learnt that all too much.
"And did you really expect me to come in here with no plan whatsoever? Come on, I even have back up,” she pointed out, a smile tugging at her lips before she tapped her earpiece. “‘Ave you found him?”
Rose gave her friend a small smile. She'd come a long way since joining Torchwood. However, she still couldn't get rid of the anxious if slightly paranoid feeling rising in her, when she realized she was shaking. She tried to calm herself down, reassuring herself now that Clara was here, but she couldn't shake it off.
As she listened Clara speaking to Torchwood, Rose found herself leaving the room, and edging into the darkened living room, looking all around to see if he was still here. She knew he was, but where?

"Thanks," she whispered, glad she was now able to breathe easily. "I’m fine. He’s still here, Clara. I don’t know where, but he’s still here."
"He worked it out. I dunno how, but he worked out that we were onto him. I was gonna call the police, but he got here first."
"It’s all right. It’s all right," she assured, removing Rose’s bounds with fingers scrambling to help her.
"I’ll sort it out. Torchwood’s round the place, anyway. Just in case anything goes wrong. He didn’t hurt you, did he?"
"No," she lied, flexing her hands when they were freed. "M'fine. Really, I'm okay."
