Uh, I don’t really know how to approach this, so I guess I’ll start from the beginning.
Long story short, I was officially diagnosed with clinical depression and anxiety the beginning of last year, though I’ve had it since I was 14. I’m 25 now. And ultimately, it’s effected how I perform on the job.
Now, my last boss was very understanding. I felt myself getting bad again and voluntarily checked myself into a program for a week and when I got out, she allowed me back to work. That was in January. Fast forward to September, I had a bad episode and walked out of work. I didn’t answer any calls for a week and a week after that, I finally had the courage to talk to my boss… but, she said she had to let me go and I completely understood. But, here it is April, the end of, and I haven’t worked since September.
I’ve been filling out applications, following up with the companies and I haven’t had much luck. This past week has been very hard for me but I finally got a call back and the only thing holding me back now, is transportation. I don’t drive and I don’t have any money for bus fare.
Literally, all I need is $100. That would cover my transportation expenses for the entire month and when, WHEN, I get the job, I will even pay back what was given to me. I’m just trying to get back on track. I want to go back to school, I want to move from home. I want to be able to feel like I’ve accomplished something in life.
If you don’t have the means to help, please pass along my message. Thank you.
