5545 years in the future... the year is now 7571.

Every 20 years, Jupiter and Saturn meet in the sky, we saw this in 2020. However, 7571 is special - not only will the two gas giants meet, but from Earth's perspective, Jupiter will pass directly in front of Saturn (an event called an occultation). It even happens twice in the same year, with the second time leaving Saturn near-fully obscured. From the vantage points of those living on Titan, Ganymede, Callisto, Saturn's clouddecks, and so on- this event is probably not nearly as interesting.

I had a lot of conflicting info on the exact orientation, timing, positions, etc of the event, so I may revisit the idea again in future. For now it's kinda vibed out to ensure I actually call it good and finished.

Couldn’t help myself from putting the smallest indications of cities on Ganymede.
