I should hangout wit you...looks like ur having all the fun////
Haha well thank you!
So the last thing I posted on tumblr was a print I did about a year ago. In the past year I have learned a lot, and I have made a lot. I'll try to get back soon and update. Most importantly I am beginning my final semester as an undergraduate. It has been a long journey, and I am excited to to open the next chapter in my life. I cannot wait to share what I have been making, as well as what I have planned.

I still have not printed the text on two of the images, but here are the five pages from the recipe book I began in August. All of the recipes are my own; some created from scratch while others are altered from recipes from friends. Hopefully over the next few weeks I will be able to complete this project, and have it out of the way before the new year! I think I have a little over 130 images total after proofs, editions, etc.
Images are all done using various intaglio methods, while text is screen printed after. There will be an edition of five artist books, while larger editions of each image were made as well.
**Edit: paper size is 15"x11-1/2" All images printed on BFK Reeves
Aquatint steps for the illustration of my salad. Arugula, pecans, and dried cranberries and raisins. Color proofs and edition will be posted later.
More aquatint steps from a plate a few months ago; there were one or two more that I somehow don't have photos of, but here are most of the transitions. The divots of the crust were later filed out and polished, giving an irregular line instead of the smooth circle pictured.
Color proofs of this print were posted previously.
Ended up going with the orange/sepia mix. Edition pulled (plus a couple extra), so that leaves more color proofs on the apples for tomorrow!
I may have bitten off more than I can chew, but I am going to try my damndest to get this thing completes by the end of the semester.
Watercolor on Arches, 44"x22"
This is a preparatory drawing for an upcoming project where I will be casting my face, and creating molded paper masks with paper. The masks will then be painted and altered in various ways.
CTP's for the squash soup plate.
1. Sepia on tan BFK Rives. 2. Sepia on white BFK Rives. 3. Orange and Sepia on white BFK Rives. 4. Orange on white BFK Rives. 5. Graphite on white BFK Rives. I am leaning towards either the orange or the orange/sepia, but may try a few more on tan before deciding haha....
Aquatint step by step for the apple prints, prior to cutting out the apple shapes.
Illustration for the apple pie page of my recipe book. Etching and aquatint on BFK Rives.

Plate three of the semester is a bleed print. Etching on bfk rives.
Illustration for the coconut curry squash soup recipe I made; still need to do color proofs, but pretty pleased so far! This was printed with transparency added to sepia.
Research for print today included baking an apple pie!
James McShane: Intaglio Imbroglio!
Intaglio is the love of my life, and this is a great description of why!
