“What do you mean when you’re gone? Are you going to die or something?!” Kougyoku freaked out by his question. “By any means of course I’ll miss you, you’re someone that I believe is close to me.” she said, even if he rejected the friendship request she had.
“But why do you ask, Judal? Are you leaving for real or something?” Kougyoku worried.
“I don’t want you to leave, okay!” she smiled. “I’d get a bit lonely.”
"No I'm not gonna die or anything." By all means, the way Judal was acting right now was out of character. Usually he's a douche around the girl but that's the only way he thought could work to become closer to the ruby haired teenager.
"Even if I always make fun of you, you'll miss me?" he asked. "Well..I have to transfers schools because of my parent's work. You're free from all my mean remarks starting tomorrow." The black haired teen smirked.

School was over for the day, and Kougyoku gathered her books from her desk and carried them as she walked toward the locker rooms. She placed her books in her bag, the checked her phone for any texts. Unfortunately she had none, but it was okay. She walked out of the school, then saw Judal leaning on the brick wall and approach her. Quite unusual for him to approach her, she was the one who’d usually make the approach.
“What is it, Judal-chan?” she asked, looking at him curiously. It was the second semester for the two at their school. “Do you need something from me, perhaps?” But she assumed of course he would be such a meanie to her and such, that’s what it was usually. But because of that the two became kind of close. Even though she hated being teased, she accepted being teased by him but sometimes she gets angry about it, but that’s what makes the girl cute.
At first glance, the black haired teen looked somewhat bored. If you look closely, however, you'll know that there was something that's bothering him. He, seemingly for the first time was in deep thought.
How am I supposed to say this to her? the young man thought and he sighed.
"Kougyoku.." he didn't usually call her by her name. Usually, he'll call her 'Old Had' but today, he chose to let the name calling go.
"..will you miss me when I'm gone?"

Kougyoku wiped off her tears ‘Geez, what did I just say back there and why did I have to cry… I’m really weak and useless, aren’t I? I know he would not really care…’ the princess thought. Then she looked at the flowers and started plucking the petals out of one. Through that she remembered a lot things that happened in her childhood. When she, Kouen, Kouha„ Koumei, Judar and the other Kou Royals weren’t occupied and busy, they used to go to the gardens to just have fun. She wanted those days back when she saw each and everyone’s smiles.
The petals of the flowers blew away as the wind blew. Then as taught by her friend, Alibaba, she made a flower crown out of boredom and just to make her feel better.
Then she felt a presence and saw the black magi. She averted her gaze from him because she had a bit of red eyes.“What do you want? Aren’t you supposed to be in your room?” she gave him a bit of a cold shoulder. “You should go back in your room and rest, I’m staying up late today.”
The black sun was trembling. The eclipse was almost over, but will it reveal a bright light? Unfortunately it didn't. Judal's eyes were blank. The firery red eyes filled with anger now became dull. He knelt down beside the princess and hugged her from behind, desperately trying to find security in her presence.
"Kougyoku..." he whispered weakly in to her ear. It was very raspy and he sounded very scared, tired, lonely and angry, all at the same time. "..help.. me."

He was scary for the princess. She was a crybaby, so of course her voice would be trembling at this time. She averted her eyes from the magi’s. “Sure you can do that to me. But as much as possible, I want to know what’s wrong with you so I can help. But if I really can’t….” a tear fell from her face and it dropped onto the ground, then eventually more tears fell. She tried to keep her voice still strong. “Even if we aren’t ‘friends’. Even if you don’t want me to be here…I just want you to be happy.”
The princess smiled as she cried and looked back at the magi, even if he didn’t make any eye contact to her. “It’s because even someone like you is dear to me. Even if I believe I’m not to you, you still have a place in my heart along with a lot of people. So… just please understand where I’m coming from. Good Night, then.” the princess left the balcony and eventually his room. Kougyoku didn’t go back to her bedroom though, she knew she couldn’t sleep so she decided to go to the Kou’s gardens.
He knew she was crying. He always knew when she does cry and he knows what she feels despite trying to hide it. You can say that that's how close they were but then they don't really realize it. Why are these thoughts coming into his mind right now? The spell? Solomon's wisdom making him see the things he's done wrong? This is torture for him. He didn't like it. He didn't like it one bit. How can he even think straight right now? Was that part of the torture too? What the hell do they want him to do?
While lost in his thought, his gaze was averted to the gardens where the shadow of the woman who came to his room can be seen under the pale moon light. Judal didn't know why but he stood up and decided to go where the princess was and just be with her. Now, he didn't mind whether she see's him crying. He just doesn't want to feel lonely anymore.
He wanted to feel less lonely, but it was too late. His sanity is going to disappear anytime soon. It was too late... almost?

That made Kougyoku even more worried. He didn’t even call her by ‘old hag’. She could tell that he was really down in the dumps. Kougyoku walked up to the balcony and stood up beside him, then looked at the moon. “It’s a pretty night, you know that? It shouldn’t be a night wherein someone would be depressed and such.” she smiled. “Judar, I won’t leave until you alone until you tell me what’s wrong with you. Even if it costs me having rest.”
Kougyoku looked at Judar with eyes filled with worry. “As a king candidate and an acquaintance, I care about you. I still remember us as kids, playing and such. So I really hate to see you like this, Judar. So please trust me, or at least tell me what’s the matter with you. I’ll always listen to you and lend you an ear.” she said.
"Oh, you're still here?" The magi said in an annoyed tone. "Do I have to call you old hag just to get out of my sight?" He didn't really want to see anybody right now. He didn't want to let anybody see him as he is now. "Now move along.. or do I have to drag you back to your room and lock you up in there?" Judal was scary. Well, he was scary even before but this outdoes his antics before. He was genuinely serious that he could kill a person out of sheer irritation.
"I appreciate your offer princess, but leave me alone." He was dead serious. No playful sarcasm in his tone, just pure wrath. He didn't have eye contact with the princess but it can be seen that his eyes seemed redder than usual and that they were glistening from the tears the man has shed. He never noticed that he has this feeling of longing in his heart for his parents. He never knew up until now and it infuriates him.

The princess was sleeping soundly with a smile on her face. Unfortunately, she woke up in the middle of the night as she heard something that startled her.
The princess heard someone laughing hysterically at first and thought it was odd. But then judging from that, she could tell it was her oracle. But she wondered why would he be laughing like that at a time like this? It was late and he should be in bed by now, knowing him well. She felt like helping him, his room was a bit near to the princess’. As a childhood acquaintance of his, she cared about him a lot. When she heard his crying, she got triggered to stand up from her bed. “Judar…” she worried.
Kougyoku slowly walked toward the door of her room, putting on her shoes and such. Kougyoku tried to be as quiet as possible as she was walking through the hallways of the empire because she knew her siblings and cousins may be disturbed in their sleep. But why couldn’t they wonder about Judar’s loud voice? It was really loud that they could’ve woken up. He was their oracle after all, and a magi that chose the Kou’s royales as king candidates. She always thought that a king candidate and a magi should worry about each other.
She arrived at the front of his bedroom door and knocked on it. “Judar?…” she said, then she let herself in and was indeed shocked by the table which was split then she looked at the magi. “Are you okay? You seem quite troubled.” she asked. Kougyoku was hurt deeply to see her oracle in this kind of mood. Though, she knows she can’t blame him. Kougyoku approached him so that their distance wouldn’t be too far. “I could hear your voice from my bedroom. So I was worried about you.”
Judal was still leaning on the frame of the balcony door. His eyes were blank and he was looking at the eclipsed moon. He averted his gaze from the moon for a while and turned slightly too look at the pinkette that entered his room. "Kougyoku.. leave me alone." He didn't really want to talk about anything. He still had the images running in his head but he couldn't cry anymore. "He didn't have the time for petty talk. He didn't even bother to call Kougyoku by the pet name he gave her, 'old hag.;
The magi gazed back at the moon and started to blubber random stuff. From that point on, he ignored the presence of the pinkette. From then on, he lost himself. He would smile at nothing and cry at nothing. He has lost his mind and fallen deeper into his insanity. He didn't look scary at all, he looked pitiful with every second that ticks.
Just really… depressed and such. -sigh- Do you have skype, by the way?
I don't.. I'm sorry, parent's are too strict. I'm only sneaking on tumblr since it's not blocked by the firewall at our house.(SHHH they don't know I'm awake till 3am) I don't even have a facebook account T_T. Anyway, Don't be sad! Be happy! Okay.Think about positive things and things will get better okay?

He woke up in the middle of the night in cold sweat. He didn't know where he was a t first but then he looked around and recognized that it was his room back in the Kou empire. He also noticed that there were tears running down from his eyes. Out of spite, the magi punched the table right beside his bed, resulting in to a loud cracking noise and a table split right in the middle. 'That shortie..' he thought. 'What did he do to me?' he couldn't stop the tears from from falling. His head hurt like two strong hands wringing his brain until it tears. He held on to the silken blankets that covered his lap and held on to them tight.
'Parents... huh?'
The oracle then stepped away from his bed on to the balcony of his room. The moon is full now. It has been four days since he had the same dream every night. All because of that short blue haired kid that was always trouble. There were people from Al Thamen, a couple killed on the spot and a village destroyed and set on fire. Were the couple his parents? He wondered what could have changed if they were alive, if he wasn't a magi.
But it was his fate to be born into the world as a magi. 'F*ck destiny..' he thought, cringing at the fact that he is a magi. Cicadas started making their music and a few silent moments later, the magi started laughing hysterically. That's how it started at first, but in the end, it became a loud wail.. a cry for help that sadly, no one can hear. Yes, he knew that people would hear his cry, but no one would be there to help him.. no one.
He dropped to the floor, his back, leaning on the frame of the window, his eyes, blank and dead with emotions as he stared at the bright moon, being covered with the shadow of the Earth. The shadow of reality.
