Demi’s last 3 albums have all sounded different sonically but you can really see the journey she’s gone on. Dwtdtaoso was her self discovery phase after so long of being with a team that controlled her life, holy fvck was self acceptance and pushing back against people trying to mold her into what they want and INTD is about finally being happy and having fun after everything she’s been through and working on her self to get better.

It’s Not That Deep - Demi Lovato (2025)

I’ve just finished listening to It’s Not That Deep for the first time and Demi surpassed all my expectations. I was excited for the album but honestly it’s even better than I thought. I’m not someone that goes clubbing but I want to just to hear these songs!

Also I’m SO GLAD Let You Go is the next single because I’m in love with it.

The album may be called it’s not that deep but there’s actually a few songs on there that are and they’re all amazing and are some of my faves. Ghost made me tear up, it’s already one of my fave Demi songs she’s ever released.

I can’t wait to listen to it again!

I decided to re-listen to all of Demi’s albums ready for the release of It’s Not That Deep (out this Friday!) and did a ranking of each song on them!

To make it easier I only did the standard additions of each album, also my rankings usually change around a little each time I listen to the albums so these ranking will likely be slightly different next time.

Does anyone else find it hard to do song rankings? By the time I finish an album I’m usually in a different mood and that definitely has an influence.
