||Zombie Au|| I wish there was another way out...
tribulationofthedamned:
Fucking christ it was noisy. The alarm was going off, panicked prisoners rushing through and screams of those who were being caught once again; this time with no hopes of survival. Ren felt guilty that he couldn’t save everyone after freeing them but it was the best chance they had to get out of there. As each person passed by him, realizing just who he was they would attempt to capture him once more or kill him on the spot disregarding the consequences, but no. He was having none of that. With the free hand he had he slashed at the goons that threw themselves in his direction, striking others with his feet as he pushed through the building.
Where the hell was he supposed to go anyway? He had no idea of the layout of the building. All he knew was that he had to get out of the basement and to the main floor. That would be his best bet to get out of there. Inside he struggled with his plan. He knew he had to escape and get as far as he could, but if the vision he had from Kanari was anything to be taken seriously then someone was coming to find him here— should he find a different exist strategy? Fuck he should have thought this through.
Another thought crossed his mind of the man that captured him in the first place. A man that couldn’t be allowed to live, that much he knew. If he was allowed to make it out of here he would only set up another gang and start all over again. It was in his nature if he had to take a fair assumption. God damn it. What was he to do?! His mind went into an autopilot mode and rushed through the building, searching for a sign of either an exit or the ring leader.
Whatever he ran into first, that was what he was going with. He was sure Kanari would be alright with his decision. After all, it was because of that man she had suffered so much and he was determined to get her out of here no matter what. Putting a bullet in that man’s head was just a bonus if he was successful.
Everything was chaos. Between the alarm ringing and the prisoners going free, the men were practically crawling over each other, scrambling unsure of what to do. The noise was deafening, the only other thing filling the air was amorous gun shots, and echos of screams. Bodies dropped, lining the walk way, anyone else was getting trampled in the cross fire. The clan desperately looked for leadership. And leadership was naught to be found.
The male wolf pushed against the side of the building, finding an outside exit. It was secluded, only one man standing by it. And with the grand scheme of things had been distracted from his post. And quite frankly it made the poor man a rather easy target.
Only a moment, before the male stepped over his lifeless body, his fingers gently rolling up the sleeves of his shirt, blood coating his otherwise tan skin. He arched an eyebrow walking through the corridor, it was quiet, more then he had expected, and the entrance had led out into the woods. In a worst case scenario, it would be the best means of getting out.
It was a massacre. The men had nearly gone insane with fear and bloodlust and were carnally killing everyone in sight. The air was thick, and it proved impossible to use his sense of smell in a place like this. Fine, he would just have to go in the old fashioned way.
Psychologically, the men were so deranged, they practically were killing one another in the slaughter. Unable to tell friend from foe. Kiba nearly wanted to laugh, they were nothing but animals. Take away their humanity and they became stupid. It was a perfect example of where society was headed.
Death.
Finally he saw it, his blood in the middle of everything. He watched the face of his father, trying to fight his way for freedom. But the group around him was growing bigger and bigger, the moment his identity was found out. Kiba could see the look in their eyes, and the tone of their voices. They blamed his brother for this. Finally one stepped forward, going after the younger wolf from behind.
Kiba lifted up his gun without a second thought, the man crumbled to a heap behind him. He smirked, the moment his presence was realized was the moment he became a target. But the fleeting moment of fear that transpired over their faces, it was enough to give him the satisfaction.
He caught Rens gaze for a moment, his lips curling up into a sinister grin. “Look at the mess you’ve caused Baby Brother,” he remarked, before turning towards the other men.
“Now get up. It’s time to finish this.”
