First Soul

DS wasn't always this big shot soul collector, she had to start somewhere.

Atl was a simple common demon with a mild affinity to water magic so she was held at a higher regard. She was an 18-year-old about to be suited off to a husband until one fateful day...

Little known to her a god had just fallen from the heavens. This god was the god of ascension, they were the being that allowed souls to ascend to their next lives. As the god crashed down to the earth, souls could no longer ascend on their own. The fall caused mayhem throughout the world in both a magical and physical sense, magic was reformed to what we know now today, quakes shook the ground, the skies parted, a new world.

The chaos was felt everywhere, including Atl's home. Some buildings crumbled and trapped a poor civilian, Atl's Tia. Losing family is always hard but witnessing their death makes it worse. Atl knew the traditions and knew that she must let go but she just couldn't. She sat there clutching her Tia until she was inevitably pulled off. But something came with her, her Tia's soul. That wasn't supposed to happen. Souls were meant to rise into the heavens but this one didn't. Even as Atl tried to push it upwards it just came back to her.

This is how the world learned that souls no longer passed on. No one knew why or how. Atl was the first soul collector ever recorded.

Atl may not be known as Atl today but her presence is seen throughout history.

Atl is the Aztec word for water. Her clothing is based off ancient Aztec fashion, since she's a higher class commoner she has a little color but only reds, oranges, greens, and yellows. Once she's recognized as Nahualli de Teyolía (Shaman of the Heart Soul) (Kinda) she wears more blues due to her noble status. Teyolía Atl coming soon :)

Is it all historically accurate? Probably not but this is fantasy and I was never really taught about my Aztec roots.

hunted life session 1 so far!

the roles have been given out and Joel was the cupid! He soul bound Grian and Mumbo.

Also several players started im magic comas until the people roleplaying them are free, so gem, cleo, lizzie, bigb, ren, pearl, and scott were all in comas, but Scott is now active.

Hunted Life Starts Tomorrow!! We'll be posting roleplay highlights, but for now, here's the season gimmick!

This season every session starts with the distribution of roles, the Hunter, the Lamb, the Scout, and the Cupid. The Hunter must kill one person by the end of the session, without being found out. The Lamb is allowed to donate one of their lives to another player, if they desire. The Scout is given a clue as to who the Hunter is, and must try to inform the other players, without revealing themselves as the Scout. The Cupid is granted the ability to soul-link any two players. If one of the linked players dies, the other will die with them. If the Hunter manages to kill a soulbound player, they will be rewarded. At the end of the session, Players must come together, and vote on who they believe the Hunter is, the person voted for will lose a life. For this game, Players are granted 3 lives to begin with. Once you turn Red, the rules shift. Red lives are untouchable by the Hunter, and free to kill and eliminate Players as they always have. Trust no one. Speak carefully. Good Luck. Let the Hunt begin.
