— ♔ ☾ — Yes- yes that, was what she wanted; the scream that ripped through the air, the blood- that was what she needed. Handmoves to clutch at the back of her neck, but- seeing him laugh- causes her to take a moment to breathe. That feeling of satisfaction she felt suddenly dissipates and is replaced by a feeling of absolute bewilderment. She pauses for a moment, holding an index up, mouth slightly agape as if she were in deep thought about this; odd little situation. She’d been satisfied with the loud scream at first; but- he didn’t, drop dead. Like he was supposed to.

She stood her ground, as the other advanced towards her, and listened. She listened to the other berate her because she was shocked. She was in utter awe. Pupils are focused upon the other, and she blinks for a moment, half listening. Mind had wandered away from the fact that her phone had been shattered, and as soon as she regains focus; she processes what the other had said to her once again. She’s trying to stay calm- because frankly, the concept of the dead coming back to life frightened her. ( if the dead came back to life then, a fuckton of people would have some grudges. )

However confused she may be, she returns the glare of malice and distaste; but there is no smile. She didn’t care if she got caught- she’d just, kill them too; and if there were too many people, she’d just run. The human government had no feasible ways of tracking her- she found herself basically invincible. ( on earth, at least. ) She clears her throat, again, coughing into her hand. She was from space; she’s seen this, kind of shit before. Sorta.

“ Me- Stupid? Or perhaps my train of thought is far more complicated than your silly… dead human mind would attempt to comprehend. After all, if you’re dead, then you must’ve done something pretty goddamn stupid to get to here. At least I’m still alive. And- as for getting ‘ caught ’, would any of that matter, though? What would the witness say? ‘ Oh, I saw some chick with fangs bite this guy’s throat !’, bullshit. And besides, I wouldn’t have left too much evidence behind; after all, I wouldn’t leave my dinner out in the open.”

She’s trying to play it cool, inspecting glove covered nails, before raising her head to stare into the other’s eyes.

“ Shall I act afraid now? Shall I try and mask my utter disappointment that you’re still- dare I say it, ‘ alive ’ ? And it’s funny that you’re saying I’m from… Twilight, when you’re some kind of, cheap version of Poltergeist. I shall also make it known that I am not a fucking vampire. And… if you weren’t already dead, then, I feel like it’s obvious what I would have done; with someone with a personality as… undesirable as yours. I’d’ve slaughtered you like a dog, by now. ” Jaw starts to click itself back into place, and she grabs her suit jacket, setting it into the crevice of her arm. She takes a few steps back, finding that she, once again, values her personal space.

☩▐ 「 Movements were spastic, as if he weren’t in control of them completely. He almost was, well glitching in a way. His head snapped back upright, though his eyes stayed in that inverted state as he couldn’t help the laughter grow at her reaction. Never expecting it, and never knowing what to do.

Any insult thrown at him only made his grin grow to more exaggerated proportions. Tilting his head again to the side, he shrugged. Had he done something stupid? You could certainly say that, though was it really stupid when it was a small mistake after so many years in his life. Blinking at her, he just smiled at her. 

           ❝ My, well aren’t you just full of yourself. Be careful you don’t overflow. I would hate to see such narcissism go to waste pooled up on the floor in a pile of mush. ❞

Eyes watched her carefully. The sudden snark and sarcasm was, actually appreciated by the spirit. Why you may ask? Because in a way, that was showing fear in his eyes. People reacted differently to many unknowns in various ways, one of which was sarcasm. Grin grew as he slowly floated off the ground tilting his head to the side again. Guess she liked personal space, considering how she was backing up.

            ❝ You know, I’d say the same about you. Your personality just... pisses me the fuck off. Acting like you know everything about everything. I wouldn’t say that I was stupid for dying, or maybe it was just a small mistake out of the countless plans I had made for this future. So if you aren’t a vampy, what do you happen to be, ‘Lady who lunges at the neck of her victims to eat them’. You know, if you wanted to eat me as dinner you could at least ask my name. ❞ 」
