Current fandom fixation is MHA, specifically AFO with some LOV and MLA.
Mostly gonna reblog and like things. Maybe throw some thoughts or
questions out there.
Does anyone have a post(s) liked or reblogged that has dialogue from a MHA game? I believe it was Ultra Impact, but I'm not 100% sure. It had all of the main villains, Redestro included, and had a bunch of their dialogue for early morning/ late night greetings, etc. I was trying to search for it, but my computer keeps being stupid because it has issues loading so far back on tumblr.
There may have been multiple posts documenting these sayings. I don't remember if they were direct transcriptions or translated from the Japanese versions. Any help finding them would be appreciated. Hell, even someone that can recall seeing them before would be nice so I know I'm not going insane lol.
Some of the dialogue I remember: Adorable late night greeting from AFO saying he has trouble staying up late and that he must have really gotten old. The other is from Redestro stating something about not enjoying self-depreciating humor. I saw the post before I was into AFO, and now I'm kicking myself for not liking it so I can reread it again. Gonna tag the villains I think were included in the post.
Everything will be so different when I'm on the stage tonight
Never thought AFO would come to mind from an ABBA song. I was listening to a nightcore version of Super Trouper while exercising and it popped in my head! Probably could have found other pictures that fit the lyrics better, but... eh.
Part 4 of the AFO figure series, where I compare his size with other figures/dolls! I promised men this time, so men we shall get. First up, Shao Khan.
I can't really say these are men... but I've included them here anyway. Slimes are some of my favorite video game monsters. I have way too many figures/plushes of them. Seriously, if I took a picture with all of my Dragon Quest merch, we'd be here all day. I have settled for the Metallic Monsters and Sofubi Slime figures.
AFO hanging out with other Demon Lords.
Symbiote fun with Venom and Carnage! I've finally found a figure in my collection that is larger than AFO. That Venom doesn't stand well on his own, so he's squished up on AFO's back lol. As an aside, I always loved Venom's look without the tongue.
One of my favorite comic book villains is Darkseid. It's a shame they don't have a lot of merchandise of him based off of Jack Kirby's original design. The man in the purple robe upfront is Desaad. He's basically Darkseid's Dr. Garaki. The Darkseid on the right has such a thick waist that I couldn't fit the larger holder/prongs from the figure stand around it. I had to pick the smaller one and use it to hold him by the neck. What I wouldn't give to argue with AFO about who's cooler, Darkseid or the Demon Lord. He'd probably throw around the nickname "Jobberseid" to describe him.
Super villain team-up! We have Electro, Magus, Dormammu and Shocker from the Marvel Legends series.
I couldn't pull out the red fabric for these statues, since they were too large to fit in the frame with it, so I moved them to the top of my Ikea dresser. We have Thanos with the Cosmic Cube in one hand and the Infinity Gauntlet in the other (AFO is blocking it lol.) Thanos is a little taller, but he's on a stand. If we try and even it out, AFO is only shorter due to Thanos' outstretched hand.
And finally, we have statues of Adam Warlock and Magus. Adam Warlock barely wins out, but again, if we give AFO a boost to match Adam's stand, he ends up taller. (Side rant and advice, don't assume that because two statues look alike, they will be similar in weight. I had these two on the bottom shelf of a display case. Adam Warlock was fairly heavy, so when I bent over to pick up Magus, I assumed he would also be heavy. What I didn't anticipate was using so much force to lift him, that Magus would come off his stand and slam his head into the shelf above him! His stupid little ponytail broke off... it's the white thing laying in the front of his skull stand. I'll have to do surgery/super glue it back on sometime.)
All in all, I think this is one of the best figures I've purchased. He's an absolute unit. My only complaint is that he can't pose. It would have been cool to make him choke or suplex other figures. I hope I can eventually get the other AFO figures, but they aren't as big and they're also young AFO. It's a crime Horikoshi didn't give us more pre potato Zen.
Part 3 of the AFO figure series, where I compare him to other figures/dolls! Darkstalkers is a series I always wanted to play as a kid, and though I never had the opportunity, I did get to play Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo, causing me to fall in love with Morrigan. Her and Lilith's Bishoujo figures are absent here, as I haven't opened them yet.
Some more Darkstalkers ladies. The sitting figures are noodle stopper figures. Maybe if we're lucky, we'll get one for AFO someday.
Starfire shows up with some figures, statues and a doll. (Side rant and advice, if you preorder something from a company, open the package to inspect the figure/statue! Some of them will offer replacements within 30 days for damage. The Starfire statue on the left has a crack in her neck, which was present when I took her out of the box. It looks like it may have cracked at the factory and they tried to glue it together at the back of her neck. I hadn't opened the statue until a few months after receiving it, so couldn't ask for a replacement.)
Blackfire decides to spoil her little sister Starfire's fun. I don't know whether AFO would love or hate her.
Another favorite comic book hero of mine is Raven. (One of the pictures had the flash on. It kept coming out really dark without it.) I wish we got to see AFO deal with an empath during the series, so we could have gotten more insight/hints into his emotional being much earlier. As far as I remember, the only thing we got prior to AFO's death was a supposition from Hawks, which was super late in the story anyway.
Also from the Teen Titans, we have the villain Terra! She's one of my favorite female villains, though she didn't last long. I know that was the point of her story, but I still think she would have been an awesome recurring villain. A real nasty piece of work. Not enough merchandise for her.
Final Fantasy was a series I loved growing up. Haven't really played anything after FF X-2, though.
I'm going to stop it here and make the final part, though it will not be as many pictures. This one was basically a harem anime with all the women in it. Next time, we'll bring some men! (Pixelated Sephiroth and Cloud don't count lol)
Part 2 of the AFO figure series, where I compare his size with other figures/dolls! Last time, we left off with AFO meeting a Barbie. Here he is with 2 Barbie Looks dolls, Tall body type.
Here's a parade of Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy dolls. First are Barbie, then Super Hero Girls, followed by the revamped SHG doll based after the cartoon. As far as I'm aware, they never released a Poison Ivy from that line.
Next up are Sailor Moon dolls. I could have sworn I had a pretty face Sailor Mars doll, but it's not in my display case. So I compared him with an ugly face Sailor Mars and a pretty face Black Lady instead.
Fuck heroes, get villains.
He's already too OP! Take them away!
White hair club! We have an LOL OMG doll and a Rainbow High doll.
These Licca-chan dolls never stood a chance. They're getting sent to the orphanage with that weird sunflower faced guy. Or whatever's left of it after Dabi escaped.
Next, we'll show off AFO next to various figures and a few statues. A preview of things to come.
These are unused lines for AFO from the Ultra Rumble game. Does this mean his favorite season is possibly Spring :0
Summer dialogue implies he usually enjoys warmer weather, but he does not like it when it's too hot. Fall he talks about missing the leaves changing, but nothing else. Winter is too cold for this poor man.
I love these little glimpses into AFO's opinions on mundane things. It's surprising cold weather bothers him. I would have assumed he would be like a furnace, but maybe being so large gives him poor circulation.
When I first got into MHA a little over a year ago, I remember seeing a post about various dialogues from the LOV (I'm pretty sure Redestro was in the post as well) from one of the games. I don't recall whether it was from Ultra Rumble, Ultra Impact, or perhaps some other game. All For One had a line of dialogue for nighttime where he commented(and I'm paraphrasing here) that it was hard to stay up late and that he must really have gotten old. It was an exceedingly cute thing to say for a supposed Demon Lord, and made me start liking him as a character, as I hadn't gotten that far in the series yet, so only had the knowledge of him being this supposedly impossibly evil being. Of course now that I want to reread that post, I can't find it. I'll have to continue searching for it and reblog and like it if I find it.
My friend send me this link, is a series on a profile on Ao3 (tumblr) that has different tutorials to insert things to fanfics via html code, I thought I would share bc it’s really cool

How to mimic author’s notes and Kudos/Comment buttons
Anonymous on tumblr: do you have a skin that would mimic the author’s notes and review/kudos buttons section from the end of a fic? the desired effect being that the fic could go on after the “end” of the fic, so after the author’s notes and review/kudos buttons
Here's a tutorial/live example to do just that, with some of the buttons actually functioning. I'll explain more inside!

A prompt list to celebrate Nobori aka Ingo for the month of November – I decided to do a weekly prompt list this month as, like many of us living in the US, I am currently subject to the Holiday Gauntlet and thus don't want to risk burning myself out too quickly with this one. If however you wanna try to challenge yourself and make posts every day, take the weekly prompts as a guideline to splinter off of to your hearts' content!
Whether you write, draw, cosplay, film interpretive dance – any and all forms of creativity can be submitted under the tag #nobovember
Guidelines are as follows:
Please try to post the appropriate prompt on the specified week
If you wish to make ship art, all ships are allowed so long as the submission is still centered on Nobori and the ship is appropriately tagged so people who don’t like the ship can block it
Spicy submissions are welcome as well, so long as it is under a read more/separate link and a content warning is provided
Don’t stress about having to finish all the submissions – this is purely for fun and fandom togetherness
*WARNING: There is a sentence in this chapter that implies past blankshipping. It is not described, nor is it going to be an element of the story. It's a line of dialogue that is meant as an insight into a twisted aspect of the Subway Bosses' relationship. If this upsets you, please don't read further. Mind the tags, this is a yandere story with some awful things in it. I believe I have most of them tagged, but for those that read further, feel free to suggest any other tag I should add. Minors DNI.*
The only reason you are in this position is because you were trying to get home from work. Before all of this misfortune, you had been having friendly conversations with the Subway Boss, Ingo, which started a couple of months ago. They were always late in the evening, just before the subway closed, so you were usually alone with him, or at most, there would be a couple other people onboard the train. Initially, the two of you would just chat about how your days were going, but eventually, you had begun to speak of more personal matters, revealing to him that you weren't a big fan of leaving the house, only doing so out of necessity. The term you had used to describe yourself was 'homebody.' You didn't sense anything at the time, but this must have been what set him off. After that, you had freedom for only a few more days before the night he took you.
It had been a long day at work, and you were happy to be on your way home to Opelucid City. After the train came to a standstill, you were stopped by him. He claimed there was something he wanted to speak with you about, but once the other singular passenger had exited the cabin, Ingo immediately brought out his Chandelure, using it to incapacitate you. Later that night, when you awoke chained to his bed, he had explained the situation.
Ingo said he wanted a housewife. Someone that would stay at home and await the return of him and his brother. He came to the conclusion you would be the perfect candidate because you were so sweet, and enjoyed the calm isolation of spending time at home. It was obvious, at least in his mind, that he should take you. Ingo was much too busy to go out and find a wife the old-fashioned way. This was the most logical solution to his problem, and you had already proven to be a nice, agreeable person.
Trying to escape on the first day had proven fruitless. You had been locked in, and all the windows barred. Calling for any neighbors was pointless since the house was solitary, with no other homes in sight. There wasn't anything left out of place inside, or so you thought, but the twins were able to deduce you had made some attempt at leaving when they returned home. The punishment was being chained to Ingo's bed again. The next morning, you were hypnotized by Chandelure, making it so you laid there, all day, unable to think of anything, only being released from your stupor when they came back at night. It quickly became evident that if you wanted to regain your freedom, you would have to play the long game, earning their trust. If you kept losing your ability to think, that meant you couldn't plan, so pretending to accept your fate became the best option. Convincing them that you wouldn't try to leave, and even enjoyed being there, might eventually make them comfortable enough to leave the door unlocked, when they felt you could be trusted completely.
After a week of playing pretend, they allowed you to move freely around the house, which you had learned was located around Anville Town. All things considered, you took to your new life as smoothly as one possibly could, given the circumstances. More responsibilities were given to you as time went on. At first, they would have you feed their Pokemon and make them dinner, only getting started while they were there so they could watch you. Then, they extended this to you cooking for them before they arrived, so you could set the table, and have a warm meal ready for when they managed to return home. Cleaning the house and doing laundry came next, everything a 'good' homemaker does. They both had very archaic views of gender roles. You weren't sure how they acquired them in this day and age. The twins never mentioned any other relatives, so you couldn't glean whether or not it was a generational viewpoint that was learned during their childhood.
The sexual aspect didn't begin until yet another week of your compliant behavior. Since arriving here, Ingo's room had been where you'd been sleeping, sharing a bed with him. A kiss here and there before falling asleep, with some light cuddling, became passionate make out sessions, which would culminate with him grinding on your backside until he came. You knew once that happened for the first time, it wouldn't be long before you would be expected to go further. He was never physically forceful, but sometimes, if he felt you were being 'cold,' he would threaten you into compliance. It was clear that, although he was generally even-tempered, something was psychologically wrong with him, which made denying him dangerous. There was always a possessive quality to his affection, and an expectation that you would obey. So when the time finally came, you went along with it to avoid any repercussions. Intercourse was a nightly ritual now, usually employing a different position from the night before. You felt fortunate in that he wasn't into anything odd, being easily placated with vanilla sex. Though sometimes, he did say things to imply he wanted something more.
That brings you to the present. All three of you have gotten ready for bed, Emmet bidding the both of you goodnight before going to his room, and you and Ingo returning to yours. As you pull back the covers to get in, Ingo comes up behind you, rubbing your arms.
"I need you to do something for me, darling," he whispers, "Emmet seems rather wound up tonight. It was a long day, after all. Why don't you go and see if you can… unwind him?"
You spin around to look at him, shock apparent on your face. "Are you telling me to be… intimate with him?" you ask with an incredulous voice. This is the first instance of a request that really pushes your boundaries.
"That's correct. It used to be I was the one to help him occasionally, but now that I have you…" he trails off, waiting to hear your agreement.
The implication is not lost on you. This is a disturbing revelation, but for how close they seem to be, it's not as surprising as it should be. Your initial belief that he wasn't into anything weird has been proven false, which causes a sense of panic for what the future holds.
Resigning yourself to your fate, you respond, "Yes, sir."
His mouth forms a genuine smile. "Very good. But, put this dress on. I want it to be a surprise." Ingo presents you with a sleeveless, formfitting, red dress. One so short that it would surely show off everything if you made any unrehearsed movements. "And the panties you're wearing… leave them here. I want him to have… easy access."
Trembling from what you are about to do, you take off your pajamas and put on the dress, following his instructions to leave off the undergarment. When you're finished, you turn to him again, waiting for his dismissal.
He reaches in the drawer of the nightstand and pulls out a small bottle of lube, adding, "Oh, and no condom. Only the best for my brother." Accepting the bottle, you give him a nod, confirming that you understand. "There's my good girl. Off you go," he says, giving your ass a squeeze.
Exiting his room, you close the door and walk the few steps to Emmet's, tentatively knocking.
The door opens, and he peers out at you with a bewildered look. "Is everything all right?"
Stepping from one foot to the other nervously, you assure him, "Yes, everything's fine. May I… come in?"
After blinking a few times, he then moves out of the way. "Of course."
Walking inside, the room looks exactly like Ingo's, just in a white color scheme, having the same furniture and bedding. He closes the door and you begin, "Um… I don't know how to go about this, but… did you want to spend time with me?"
"Together? Without Ingo?" His eyes still haven't left your face, so you aren't sure if he's registered what you're wearing yet.
"Just the two of us. He wanted me to… take care of you."
Emmet Jolts at this, but nods his head, commenting, "I would like that very much." Breaking eye contact, he finally notices the dress, and his eyes rove over your body, breath catching in his throat. "My brother is always looking out for me."
Ignoring what he said, you respond, "O-okay… I'll go lay down." You hand him the bottle of lube, then crawl on his bed, feeling embarrassment from the view he's getting. Shifting your body as your head reaches the pillow, you lay on your back, waiting for him to join you.
Hesitantly, he walks over and climbs on top of you. Placing your hand on the back of his head, you pull him in for a kiss, and it's immediately apparent that he hasn't done this very much before. His hands sporadically move over your body, squeezing painfully when he grabs your breasts.
When he breaks away from the kiss, he asks, "Can I start now?" Up to this point, he hasn't bothered to get undressed, instead using the fly of his pajama bottoms to release himself. The lubricant is swiftly poured into his hand and rubbed along his shaft. "Wait, shouldn't we use, uh, protection?" he adds.
"No, it's alright. Ingo said not to," you answer, receiving a nod in response.
Spreading your legs, you remain silent, not wanting to give him permission to do something you were being forced to. You feel the head of his penis press just outside your vagina, but he waits for your go-ahead before continuing. After meekly replying, "You can start," he pushes inside with a little difficulty.
As he completely enters, his arms wrap around you, and he releases a shaky breath. "You're so warm," he mutters, before starting to rock his hips.
A moment later, you exclaim, "Ah," in discomfort as he slips out.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry! I did not mean to pull out. L-let me put it back inside."
There's an attempt to relax as he reenters you and begins a sloppy pace. It's only about three minutes before he moans and his body comes to a halt, trembling and panting against you.
"That was wonderful… you were wonderful," he exhales, catching his breath.
A defeated, "Thank you," is offered in response. As much as you hate showing gratitude for doing something so awful, you know Ingo will get upset if you don't reply in an affirmation. After waiting a bit for him to regroup, you state, "I should be getting back to your brother."
"Absolutely," he says, sliding off of you, onto the other side of the bed. "Maybe we can do this again sometime?" he cocks his head, a hopeful expression on his face.
"I… will see what Ingo says." Giving as much of a smile as you can muster, you bid him goodnight again and open the door, closing it as you step out. The lube was left behind, but you aren't about to go back in to get it. All you want to do now is go to sleep and forget what you just did, but in order to do that, you have to endure even more shame, returning to Ingo and relaying what happened. Wanting to put this behind you as quickly as possible, you enter your shared room once more.
Ingo is still standing, and turns his head to face you as you close the door. "Did you let him know you appreciated his effort at pleasing you?" There's a subtle warning behind the way he asks the question.
"Yes sir, I thanked him."
Reaching for your hand, he says, "Here, let me take a look." He guides you to the edge of the bed, pushing you to sit, then lay back. Getting down on one knee, he uses his hands to spread your legs, admiring the work his brother did. "Mhm~ Bravo… Very nice… I can still see some of his cum dripping out. You know you took his virginity?" he asks nonchalantly.
"What?!" You exclaim, mortified. Thinking back on how Emmet performed, that would explain his awkward kiss and lack of foreplay.
"That's right. My brother has never been a wordsmith. It takes a certain… tact to impress a woman. I'm sure tomorrow he's going to tell me all about it. You've just made his night. Probably his whole month." Looking to your face again, he keeps your legs spread. "Tell me… how long did he last?"
"Around three minutes…"
"Ha ha ha," Ingo starts laughing as if that's the funniest thing he's ever heard. "We really are twins. That's as long as it took me on my first time." He shakes off the mirthful display and continues, "But I'm sure when he gets more practice he will get the hang of it. I'm thinking" —his forefinger is used to tap on his chin— "perhaps every Wednesday you can help him relax."
Every Wednesday? This is going to be a weekly event? You don't respond, as the only thing you could say would be deemed antagonistic to the idea, causing Ingo to become enraged.
A sultry smile creeps onto his face, "So… do you want to taste the love you made?"
Your eyes widen, positive you know what he's hinting. "N-no, I don't!"
"Come now, it took effort. Let's not let it go to waste." Ingo places his fingers on the outside of your pussy, rubbing around the area, before inserting his middle and ring finger. Pulling them out after a few pumps, he raises his hand to your lips. "Say 'ah,'" he commands.
Fearing what will happen if you refuse, you reluctantly open your mouth. He rubs his fingers up and down your tongue, simulating a sexual act, causing you to gag from the bitter taste.
"Did you like that?" he inquires, with the corner of his lips upturned.
"Y-yes sir," you sputter after your small coughing fit ends.
"There's my precious wife. You did so well, thank you." Releasing your leg, he rises and walks over to the closet. "It might be difficult for you to see now, but someday you'll understand why it's important for Emmet and I to bond this way." A towel is retrieved, as well as a new set of pajamas, and he walks back, handing them to you. "Don't worry, that's all I'll ask of you tonight. You can finish cleaning up in the bathroom, then head to bed."
Accepting the supplies, you only nod and head to the shower. As you step in and turn on the water, a million thoughts flood your mind. So it is a given you will be pimped out to his brother every week. There was never any indication before this that you were going to be shared between them. Trying to best clean all of the cum from inside you, prayers are said in the hopes you avoid becoming pregnant. In all the times you've been intimate with Ingo, he's always used a condom. Why would he demand you not have one when sleeping with his brother? Escaping is already going to be difficult. How would you get out and run if your belly were swollen with a child? You're feeling sick to your stomach from the mental image.
Rinsing the last bit of suds from your body, you dry yourself and put on your fresh pajamas. Ingo is already in bed, leaving the room dark when you enter it. Slowly walking forward, you climb in next to him. He's still awake, of course. His arms snake their way around your waist and he pulls you close. It isn't too difficult to fall asleep like this. Usually after sex this would be how he holds you. The one thing that helps you sleep is the thought of being free someday. You close your eyes and eventually drift off.

Notes: I've been sitting on this for a few months now. The idea was to have it as one long story, but I decided to go ahead and release what I have as a single chapter. There's no set schedule for uploading, nor is there a guarantee I will complete it. I'm prioritizing finishing my other story, "Sinking Despair," before working on this one again.
As with my other stories, I have no set ending in mind, it gets developed along the way. Worst-case scenario I will upload the dialogue/narration that I have and note that it is a work that will not be completed. I do hope to get back to it, but as of right now, it's on the backburner.
Slowly opening your eyes, you spot Nobori beside you, sitting in a chair. His arms are crossed over his chest, head hanging down. It almost looks like he's sleeping. You aren't sure how long it's been since losing consciousness, but that is the least of your worries.
"W-where are my babies?" you demand groggily, panic rising when you don't see them, or hear any crying.
Nobori's reaction is immediate, sitting up straight and looking over to you. One arm is placed around you as he leans in. "Don't worry, dearest. They are already with Dr. Colress. You did wonderfully. Do you remember anything?"
"No…"
"Well, that's probably for the best. I'll let him know you are awake," he tells you before teleporting. Only a couple minutes pass, then he appears as easily as he left. "He'll be here shortly, my love. Lay back, and do not fret. The boys look beautiful."
"Boys…" you whisper. Out of all the things you've been stressing over, you never bothered to wonder what sex your babies were. In the grand scheme of things, it wasn't as important as everything else going on. "A-are they okay? I need to see them!"
"Calm down, dear. Everything's all right. You'll see them momentarily. They are perfect, just as I said." Nobori smiles at you, attempting to ease your concern.
Colress comes in carrying one baby, with a nurse trailing behind him, holding the other. "(Y/N), I'm sure you're still a little weak from the drugs we gave you, and the toll childbirth took on your body, but I also know you want to meet your babies." He doesn't wait for you to admonish him with 'of course, you idiot,' walking over and gently transferring the child he's holding into your arms. "Mind his head and neck when you hold him. There you go."
The feeling of relief is overwhelming. Your baby, finally here in your arms. His little face is calm and sleeping peacefully.
"You lost a little bit of blood, but nothing we're too worried about. Normally, hospital staff wouldn't do this, but taking Kudari into account, they're going to go ahead and let you return to him. He's probably freaking out right now, so I'm sending Nobori ahead of you to get him under control and help clean up the room in the event he's destroyed anything in his… displeasure." Colress looks to Nobori and motions with his head for him to leave. After the hybrid is gone, he continues, "But when you are there, you are to rest. Only get up to use the restroom. Have Kudari bring you everything, including the babies when they need to be fed. Speaking of, we were able to feed them while you were out, but don't get too comfortable. They'll probably wake up shortly and need to be fed again."
"That sounds like a reasonable plan," you agree. The nurse with your other son lowers her arms, letting you see him. His face is a mirror copy of the one sleeping in yours, serene and unaware.
About fifteen minutes pass and Nobori reenters the room, pushing a wheelchair up to the side of your bed. "Are you ready, dear? Kudari is extremely upset, but I assured him everything went splendidly and that you and the babies were coming soon. He was able to hold off on trashing his abode, surprisingly, but he sustained some minor injuries to his hands and arms while banging on his door, trying to escape. I've already tended to him, but if we take too long returning, he's liable to start again."
He pulls the covers down, lifting and then placing you into the wheelchair carefully, mindful that you are currently holding one of your sons. When you've settled into the chair, the nurse comes closer, ready to hand the other one to you. Nobori is quick to help readjust the baby already being held by you, so he's snugly in one arm.
She places him gently in your other arm and quickly goes through an overview of what to expect with changing and caring for them. She ends with, "If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to visit us."
"Thank you. I may just do that," you nod, admiring the newly acquired infant.
"Alright," Colress interjects, "you two should head out. God forbid Kudari has to wait. Nobori will explain what to do when you need to feed them. Good luck and congratulations." He offers a small smile as you're wheeled out.
On the way to the laboratory, Nobori makes small talk, but you don't hear a word of it. You have a baby in each arm, given one of the biggest responsibilities on the planet. The tiny bundles oblivious of the terrible place they've been thrust into. They need you to protect them, and you pray you can live up to the challenge.
Stopping near Kudari's door, there have been two cribs left in the vicinity. Nobori moves to your side, stating, "It was so good to get to spend this fleeting moment with you, dearest. I hope after some time passes, we can do so again regularly. Just… let me see my boy during these first few months. I know it's important for his mother to be close and bond with him. He will also need to be fed at different intervals, so I perfectly understand and accept that he shall remain with you and Kudari for now, but I still want to see him." Tracing the outline of your face with his finger, he reveals, "The one in your right arm… his name is Genesis. When things settle down, he can start spending the night over at my place."
You swallow the hopelessness rising up. 'Genesis.' He's already named him, not bothering to ask if you liked it, or even had any ideas of your own. Nodding, then turning your head away, you relent, "Very well, though I may think of a nickname for him later. Kudari already promised you one of my children. I will honor that contract only with the acknowledgement that I will always be a part of his life. I will always be his mother."
"Absolutely, dearest," Nobori speaks with adulation. "We'll always be a family. You already know of the plans I have for us. It will take patience before they come to fruition, I know. It's something I'm eagerly anticipating." He steps away from you to enter the passcode into the wall to open the door. "Come now, we've taken long enough," he comments. Walking to the back of you, he wheels you into the room. Kudari is waiting inside, trembling with excitement.
"My beautiful darling! So sweet and wonderful! The most perfect mate for me! L-look at them. Have you ever seen such lovely, little faces?" Kudari bombards you with praise, glancing at you, then peering from one tiny face to the next. Silently, Nobori goes to bring in the cribs, one at a time as you reunite with his brother.
"Hello, Kudari. Would you like to hold one?" you gesture for him to take the baby from your left arm, explaining how to hold him.
"Yes, yes, I will do it the right way." Carefully, he lifts the small bundle from your arm. After getting a proper grasp, Kudari looks back to you, tears filling his eyes. "He is so precious, darling! So perfect!"
Nobori clears his throat, having finished placing the cribs by the web. "Ahem. Sorry to interrupt, but before I depart, I should instruct you on how to feed the babies. It would have been better for the nurse to go over this with you, but unfortunately, due to Kudari's… enthusiasm to see you, we came to the conclusion while you were out that it would be better if I were to see the process, then pass the information on to you after arriving here."
"I was told that they were able to be fed earlier, how did you guys manage to do that?" you ask. "I wasn't given a pump to take with me."
"Ah, well, it was a bit awkward, but at the direction of the nurse, I held one and Colress held the other to your breasts so they could feed at the same time. Luckily, they were able to latch, even at an odd angle."
Oh my God, not only has a wretch like Colress seen you give birth, he's also helped your children breastfeed. Face flushing from embarrassment, you exhale, "I wish I never asked."
Trying to soothe you, Nobori assures, "Don't feel self-conscious. It was what needed to be done. I will go out shortly to buy some formula for emergencies, but as much as possible, they should be breastfed." He walks to the front of you, by Kudari, and begins instructing you on how to hold them, where to place their faces, and what to do to coax them to latch.
After giving you directions for the proper way to feed the babies, he bids you farewell. "I shall let Colress know that it is safe for the door to remain unlocked once more. Keep the wheelchair for as long as you like. Whenever you have any need, let me know what you require. I'll be in the vicinity for the foreseeable future, so do not worry that I won't be available." Nobori pats you on the shoulder and teleports out.
Looking down to you once more, Kudari cracks a smile. "Darling, I am so happy to have you with me again! I was worried about you! But, here you are, with my babies!" He begins to rock his son in his arms. "I've been pondering different names since you first conceived! I thought it would be cute for one of them to be called Noki!"
Tilting your head curiously, you quiz him, "Noki? Isn't that similar to Colress' nickname for you and Nobori? Noku?"
"Oh… Yes, I suppose it does sound similar… but this is different! He's so small and cute, Noki would represent him so well! Just like the cute, shelled creatures from 'Super Mario Sunshine.'" Pointing to the baby in your arms, he starts, "And that one—" before he's cut off.
"Kudari, this one has already been named by Nobori. It's Genesis." The sad fact that this baby isn't going to be together with you all the time, rips at your heart. It's a decision that was made for you, and you weren't given any say in the matter.
"That Nobori," he mutters darkly, grimacing. "Fine, I shall keep a name in my head for if Nobori gets too absorbed with his ugly ghost work to love him."
Ignoring his statement, you move on, "And what of the names I want?" you inquire, throwing him an incredulous look.
"Of course, darling! What name would you like for Noki? No promises I will change my mind, but I will respect your opinion." A large grin spreads over his face.
"Hmm… I've always been fond of Garland." Because Kudari was so honest with the origin of his name of choice, you sheepishly admit, "It's a name I first heard from 'Final Fantasy.'"
Running a hand through his hair, he asks, "Wasn't he the villain?"
"Yeah, but I still like the name!" you argue, face reddening from humiliation.
"Very well! I shall contemplate your proposal! But, to be honest, he will always be Noki to me!" The grin morphs into a playful smirk, and he lifts a single eyebrow at you.
You shake your head in exasperation, "Why am I not surprised? How about a compromise: Garland is his formal name on paperwork, and Noki is his nickname?"
"Okay, okay!" Kudari excitedly blurts out and hops from one set of legs to the other, causing the newly dubbed Noki to awaken and begin crying.
On cue, Genesis hears his brother's fussing and matches it with his own wailing.
Halting mid-hop, Kudari whispers, "Uh-oh…" He tries to shush the baby, and gently rocks him again, "Forgive me, Noki! I did not mean to scare you!"
"U-um… it's alright. Keep cradling him, I'm sure they'll both be fine shortly," you suggest, attempting to appease Genesis at the same time. When your efforts prove fruitless, you take another guess, "Or we could try feeding them? Maybe we should page Nobori to come back so he can hold one of them while you help me get to the web to situate myself in preparation."
"No! We do not need Nobori!" Kudari adamantly refuses your recommendation. "Hold on tight to Genesis and I will help you to the web, then I will take him so you can get comfortable."
Holding your baby tightly, Kudari wraps an arm around your waist and assists you with making your way to the web. Once seated, he cradles the twins as you get ready by undoing the tied back of the gown and lowering the top. Handing you the first baby, Kudari waits for you to place him where he needs to be. Imitating what you had been taught, Noki is able to latch without issue. You signal for Genesis, and upon receiving him, direct Kudari to help position his face. It takes the baby a few tries, but he eventually latches.
The crying has finally stopped, Kudari's worried expression melting away. "See? No need for Nobori! We've got this!" He smiles wearily at you.
Exhaustion taking over, all you can do is nod. When the twins are sated and pass out, Kudari takes them, one at a time, to their respective cribs, placing them on their backs. Next, he lifts you to begin the walk to the restroom so you can prepare for bed. As you're in his arms, you notice the bandages wrapped around them. Feeling guilty for leaving him earlier, you apologize again, "Sorry for worrying you. I wish circumstances could have been different."
"Do not worry, darling. I know it was not your idea for that to happen. You would have never denied me the ability to watch the birth of our children. That's what makes you such a sweet and perfect mate," he says, placing you delicately on your feet.
Keeping quiet, you go to do your business. After getting ready, Kudari carries you back to your portion of the web and lays you down.
"Get some rest now, darling. You've made me the happiest man in the world, and I can't wait to raise these children with you. Sweet dreams," he croons softly.
Closing your eyes, you don't acknowledge him. Earlier, you weren't sure how he was going to react to becoming a father, whether he would be overwhelmed, or keep his obsessive qualities. You just gave birth, and it's already looking grim. He's not going to change, he's only going to get worse. Perhaps stupidly, you had a glimmer of hope he would lessen the severity of his mania, but these first few hours after their birth haven't been a positive indication of such. You have no choice but to move forward, praying for relief from both of the hybrids' disturbing assertions.
The months flew by, and it quickly became a race against time to prepare. Diapers and wipes were being stockpiled in the corner of the room, delivered by a research assistant. Kudari diligently crafted a makeshift crib from his webbing, and readjusted your bed to a lower level since you were unable to comfortably be lifted so high off the floor. One of his desks had been cleared off to be used as a changing table. Your daily walks for exercise turned into taking a short and fleeting loop around the third lab floor when you were up for it. Even then, it was at a snail's pace. After the initial follow-up with the doctor, you had an embarrassing moment where your nipples leaked, only noticing when Kudari pointed it out. On top of everything else, your body was working against you, as well.
For the past couple weeks, you've awoken almost nightly to see a flash of yellow eyes staring at you through the darkness. They would disappear as soon as you started to focus on them. It could only be Nobori checking on you, though the confirmation came in the form of Kudari's sour mood upon waking up, complaining about a 'nasty ghost smell.' A few times, when he would leave to get you food, Kudari would come back later than expected, even more upset than when he awoke. Your assumption was he would confront his brother, but after returning, refuse to elaborate on what happened.
Dr. Hoffman only showed up one more time to ask the same questions he had previously, but you were also given the impending date for the birth of your babies. There was a reserved excitement that mixed with dread. As much as you couldn't wait to meet them, you also knew their arrival would change the dynamic with Kudari and Nobori. Will they both be so distracted by the twins' birth that they leave you alone? Or will they get even more obsessed? You haven't seen Nobori in person, besides him watching you while you slept, to make an informed guess, but Kudari has been the same as always. Keeping him at arms length isn't an option. He's always with you, a hand on your shoulder, or running through your hair. You've tried to maintain as neutral a tone as possible during conversations, purposefully avoiding the topic of your relationship. The energy required to argue just isn't there. The continuation of that discussion will have to wait until you are capable.
Eventually, the day finally comes to induce labor. You're sitting on the web with Kudari at your side when Colress shows up to escort you to Plasma headquarters. He lets himself in and takes a look around, eyes landing on the crib Kudari had made. "What the hell is this supposed to be?" he asks, marching up to it and placing a hand on the rail.
"That is the bed for the babies, of course!" Kudari informs him with a sense of pride. "I made it to accommodate their tiny bodies. They should be very comfy in there!"
"Unbelievable," Colress mutters. "No, it's not good enough. I've already ordered two separate cribs. There will be a research assistant bringing them by later. I mean, really, even if you made another one, so they could each have their own bed, what if they inhaled the fibers from the webbing and choked to death?"
"Ummm…" Kudari replies in thought, raising a finger to his bottom lip apprehensively. "D-do you really think that could happen?"
"I'd rather not find out," Colress states dismissively, shaking his head.
"I have a sneaking suspicion that these babies are going to be the only ones (Y/N) will put up with having."
"Nonsense! (Y/N) is going to have many more babies! The twins are just the start! In fact, I'm thinking—"
You quickly interrupt the potential dispute, "We'll take the cribs. Kudari and I will discuss which ones we want to use, right Kudari?"
Looking back to you with renewed affection, Kudari responds, "Yes, darling! That's a wonderful idea!"
Colress scoffs and shakes his head again. "Whatever. Well, (Y/N), we should be going."
"I am coming with you!" Kudari asserts, placing an arm around you to help you up.
"No, you're not. You're staying here in the lab, where you belong," Colress scolds him.
Going on the defensive, Kudari angrily insists, "My mate is going into labor soon, I will not abandon her to some quacks!"
"It doesn't matter what you want. You can't go into Plasma headquarters. There's no way for you to sneak up there without all the grunts seeing your freak body and causing them to have mental breakdowns. No one other than laboratory personnel know of the experiments we have done. You're staying here." Colress raises his hand, attempting to quell Kudari's incoming bickering, "Don't worry, Nobori will be there with her."
"Absolutely not! I am her mate and the father of her children! Not Nobori!" Kudari releases you and stomps over to Colress, poking his forefinger into his chest with every word he states, "I. Am. Not. Staying. Here. (Y/N) needs me, so I am coming. And that is final!"
Sighing in frustration, Colress pulls out the small device from around his neck and presses the top button, causing Kudari to collapse on the floor, twitching.
"Kudari!" You blurt out.
There's no response, he's slumped over his Galvantula half at an odd angle, eyes shut.
"He'll be fine, (Y/N), he's just unconscious. I'll lock him in the room once we leave, as I'm sure when he recovers, he will be quite upset," Colress says with a smirk.
Looking down to him, you apologize, "Kudari, I'm sorry, but don't worry. I'll be fine. We've already met the doctor and he seems really nice. I'll come back as soon as I can." The words are said in the hope he can hear you in his current state.
Colress calmly walks to the door with you following behind. After leaving the room, true to his word, he taps on his tablet to lock the door behind you. "Let's not dawdle, Nobori is on his way there ahead of us," he explains, lightly resting a hand on your shoulder. The both of you journey through the lab, thankfully in silence, then take the elevator up to Plasma headquarters. From the main floor, another elevator is taken to reach the medical bay.
When you arrive, Colress directs you to enter the room as he goes into the office, supposedly to speak with the doctor. Stepping inside, you see that Nobori is already there turning down the sheets on the bed. This location clearly isn't meant for intensive procedures such as childbirth, but the staff have cleared out the room of any other patients and put a privacy curtain around the bed. Looking over to you, Nobori smiles tenderly. "Hello, dearest. Come, let's get you ready," he offers, approaching you and leading you to the bed. "Put on this hospital gown. Call me if you need any help changing." He hands you the gown and steps back, closing the privacy curtain. You can still see his feet underneath, standing close by.
Holding the garment in your hands, they shake slightly as you place the gown on the bed and begin to disrobe. After you have finished dressing, you call for Nobori, "I'm done. You can open the curtain."
The curtains are pulled back, and Nobori stands next to you once more, placing his hand on your lower back. "It's almost time. I'll be with you through the whole process. Now, sit down." He gingerly helps you lift your legs onto the bed, moving your body where it needs to be in order for you to sit in the middle of it. Colress finally shows up, standing opposite of Nobori, on the other side of the bed.
Nobori grabs your hand and leans over you. Using his right forefinger, he moves your face so your full attention is on him and says, "Don't be nervous, dear. I am here with you. It's going to feel like no time has passed at all when you wake up."
"W-what?" you manage to ask before feeling a sharp pain in your neck. Turning back to Colress, he takes a step away from the bed with a needle in his hand. The room starts spinning and you lay back, attempting to stop the vertigo. "What did you inject me with?" you gasp.
"Just a little something to make things go smoothly," Colress replies, nonchalantly. "You should thank me, really. There won't be any pain. Well, probably. You likely won't remember if there is. Just close your eyes and go to sleep. We'll take care of you."
The last thing you see is Nobori, feeling his hand run through your hair, then you're consumed by darkness
It's a little late but here it is. I'm super stressed from work so I'm not going to get around to cleaning it up. In case people can't tell, he's holding a ball gag lol
It's best to read the story first before reading these as there's definitely going to be spoilers.
When you can't brute force your way out, use someone's emotional instability against them. Reader didn't intend for Kudari to have a mental breakdown, she just wanted to get out.
Technically the kids will be (hopefully) around twenty when the hybrids die, so they could have their own children by then, but Reader is going on the high likelihood the babies aren't going to get to leave the lab, contrary to what Nobori says.
Nobori feels jubilation at being with Reader again, even if they are discussing sordid topics. But once Reader leaves, he's left devastated knowing she is going to sleep in the arms of another man. From our perspective, Nobori appears to have a cruel plan in place for taking Reader from Kudari. But Nobori truly believes that Kudari lacks the ability to be a good parent. Whereas Nobori has always dreamed of being a father, Kudari never displayed any desire for children growing up.
Don't worry about Dr. Hoffman. He wasn't thrown to the floor, he just had Kudari's hands on his back, pushing him so he leaves quicker.
