her brow lifted in curiosity though her gut told her something entirely different. "jesus, did you really think i'd forget that ?" she questioned. deep down, she would have admitted that it hurt her but there was no point in that. it'd do no good. a loud sigh fell from her lips as she listened to the younger vampire ;;  there was no possible way what he was saying was the truth. there is no way that almost everyone completely lost all of their memories --- or at least most of them. "i remember just fine. so guess i'm perfectly fine. i remember my family being murdered, i remember meeting elijah & klaus. i remember rose & trevor. i remember hanging myself." she pointed out to the younger salvatore brother before relaxing her shoulders slightly. "so, that's why there was a different look in your eyes now. well good, i'm glad to be back inside that beautiful brain of yours." the corner of her lips twitched up into a smirk before her petite arms crossed over her chest. "it's not the case with me, stefan. i just let you know that i remember."

the first time he saw her, he didn’t remember her but after being compelled to remember, he does. he hears his name being called in the distance and turns around. he meets eyes with before looking left then right, he proceeds on to approach her. he has awful memories and while there were some good, the bad outweighed them. his only concern was finding out how much she remembered. “i have a question for you.” he begins, treading lightly around her. “do you remember what happened in eighteen sixty-four, right here, in this town?” he asks. 

there was a different look in his eyes --- a look that wasn’t there when they first ran into each other though she didn’t think much of it. ran it through her head as yet another boarding face of his. she knew that trying to get him to see the truth was always going to be the biggest pain for her ;; so she find herself often ignoring the truth. “ when do you not have a question, mr. salvatore.” the corner of her lips curled up in a smirk as her chocolate hues sparked with a dancing light in her eyes. “ mystic falls discovered vampires, kidnapped them all & threw them in the tomb. damon & yourself died trying to save me.” she commented before lifting an eyebrow. “ why are you asking this ? of course i remember eighteen sixty-four & i don’t think anyone’s forgetting mystic falls anytime soon. anything else you want to know, stefan ?” she countered.
