Iām not going to read the novel properly for a while but part of the context for the Oikawa glasses post involved Oikawa in a shop and heās actually having these deep and meaningful thoughts about how despite the Karasuno match, itās not as though everything is over etc. But even then heās a little hesitant about everything.Ā
Then heās suddenly eavesdropping on these girls having a conversation about Halloween gifts (yeah Iām confused too), Christmas, confessing and not putting it off until next time etc. And while listening to that he realises that yes, this is just the start. Itās not the end at all. With that, heāll also go and watch the (Shiratorizawa and Karasuno) match.Ā
But apparently Oikawa has no stomach to mouth filter because this idiot turns around and thanks the two girls aloud. Aka the girls he just happened to be eavesdropping on and the situation straight up becomes:
