2015 Reflections | 2016 Resolutions:
First I want to say Happy (late) New Years to everyone!
Sorry, for the wait. *Drake Voice* lol
Am I the only one who was busier than usual during the holidays? And honestly, life has not slowed down since the New Year started. But no excuses, you know what they say: “ you can sleep when you’re dead.” I don’t really know who “they” are, but I’m living by these words for now.
I wanted to start the year sharing what I learned in 2015 and setting some goals for 2016.
2015 was huge for me in terms of patience and bravery.
With every situation, I was pretty freaking awesome about calming myself and assessing situations with a level head. And in the bravery department – my GOD, I made leaps and bounds. Singing in front of people, making the decision to pursue acting, and then actually ACTING! Honestly, I haven’t figured out where the courage came from, but I’m happy I took chances.
As for 2016, I’m grateful for life, family, friends and a place to rest my head. Like everyone else I have a long list of resolutions (some a little ridiculous) but, I’m holding these to top priority:
• Learn how to play the guitar.
• Immerse myself in theatre and acting.
• Relieve debt, by living with less.
