Today I started talking to her about it. I beat around the bush a little bit, but I started. I said I didn’t want what she wants. I may have done a little masking, saying I’ll do it for her, but I kept reiterating I don’t want to. She’s been depressed all day and won’t leave the bed, but I think she’s realizing. It’s been tiny, painful, incremental progress but progress just the same. As hard as it now, I’m starting to feel better, the more I chip away, the closer I feel to being happy.
