I don't understand what problems certain people have against dyed hair. Like a decade ago I saw a lot of "blue hair pronouns transgender sjw" stereotype and now I'm starting to see that attitude come back, at least with the dyed hair bit. Like dyed hair is cool as fuck why would you associate it with people you don't agree with to portray them as "whiny people whose opinions don't really matter"?

In general I'm starting to see a lot of that "anti sjw" attitude come back in style in certain places. Idk if it ever truly went away or if it just wasnt a thing in the spaces I was in years ago. But I'm seeing it a lot more recently which is disappointing because for a moment I thought that things were getting better...but now it's the same shit over again.

Like, I feel like in the later 2010s-early 2020s you'd see a lot of people with dyed hair, who are into alt fashion/subculture, who are openly trans/nonbinary. But now I feel theres a shift in those things being seen as "cringy" again.

This combined with the casual use of the r-slur I've been seeing in recent years makes me feel disappointed and concerned.

i really do dislike how people utilize the term "unmonitored/unsupervised internet access" because on a regular basis they take issue with the internet part and not the neglect. i dont believe internet access is traumatizing, i think being neglected is.

#this #i hate this shit bc i essentially had “unsupervised interact access” since i was like 12 and it didnt really hurt me #if i saw shit i didnt like or was uncomfortable with i'd just move on #getting into arguments with tumblr users at 16 years old hurt me more than seeing fetish art at 13 years old #yet ppl are only really focused on minors seeing nsfw shit and not like...getting into arguments with randos online #but like...internet arguments will fuck up your mental health regardless of what age you are #but being young can definitely make you more likely to get into internet arguments instead of just going “this is dumb. blocked!”#also like not all internet access is traumatizing to kids...kids shouldn't be banned just bc some parents are neglectful #parents need to be more involved yet supportive...not saying banning or spying on kids but like being there to talk #and also maybe kids wouldnt be so chronically online if they actually had shit to do irl instead of rotting in their rooms #ppl like to complain about ipad kids but of course thats going to happen when you dont give the kid anything else to play with #or go straight for the ipad instead of introducing it at an age where they are better equipped mentally to handle it #like 90% of the problem with “ipad kids” or “unsupervised internet access” is the parents being neglectful #or the kid not having other real life alternatives to do.#im willing to bet that a good chunk of the “ipad kids” are american...bc everything is car centric and unfriendly to kids here #of course theyre on that damn phone when they cant just walk to the park bc they either need a ride or would get the cops called on them #i honestly kinda feel bad for kids these days

theres an assumption that if an alien has an alien gender system they wouldnt understand homophobia but maybe they just have their own more complex version of homophobia. alien society with eight genders and a horribly complex web of what is considered socially acceptable that makes the gender binary look like easy mode. i'm inventing homophobia 2 and it's terrible.
