Day Sixty-seven out of Three-hundred Sixty-five:

I want to find myself in love again like when I was with an ex. Every ounce of my being fully committed without any hesitation. In love where I’m not doubting or questioning where I stand, if I’m enough, if I’m truly loved.

I want to find myself so confidently in love that I do not think twice about it.

I know one day I will be there again, I just don’t know when.

A lot has changed

I am doing better compared to about this time last year. A lot is still hard, but I am still doing better.

Single, not ready to mingle, and I am so happy to be spending my time with all my friends freely!

Day 3 out of 365, year 2023:

This year, I hope to hold strong to myself. No longer tolerate things that are hurting me. No longer letting myself bend as much as I have.

This year, I hope to find me and find where I am going.

I do not want to leave myself in a relationship where I am unhappy for a long period of time, again. This idea hurts my current significant other because they see it as me giving my terrible ex more of a chance than himself to become better. Which is true. I am doing such. But why should I allow myself to go any longer than I have to if I am unhappy? Why should I put myself through elongated unhappiness again, if such was the case? If I am unhappy, and the unhappiness is not going away, what sense does it make for me to stay in the relationship?

I am glad you are happy.

A part of me still hopes when you see me, you wish it was me you were doing all that with. And a part of me knows that that will never be the case.
