random  olivia  headcanons:

develops  all  of  her  photographs  in  the  darkroom  she  set  up  in  her  basement .

hates  having  her  own  picture  taken .

skateboards  everywhere ,    even  after  she  gets  her  license .    doesn’t  save  up  enough  money  to  get  her  own  car  until  she’s  nineteen ,    and  even  then  she’s  reluctant  to  trade  her  board  in  for  something  so  much  bigger .

started  smoking  when  she  was  thirteen ,    quit  when  she  was  twenty - four ,    started  again  when  she  was  thirty .    has  been  trying  to  quit  ever  since .

wears  a  cuff  that  she  made  out  of  one  of  her  mother’s  old  belts  on  her  left  wrist ,    can  rarely  be  seen  without  it .

she  had  to  be  talked  down  from  dropping  out  of  both  high  school  and  college  on  more  than  one  occasion .

an  avid  animal  lover .    feeds  a  handful  of  strays  that  wander  around  her  house  and  will  go  out  of  her  way  to  attempt  to  interact  with  random  wildlife .    plans  on  having  a  million  and  one  pets  when  she  gets  older    (  but  realistically  only  gets  one  dog  in  college ) .

in  her  collections  of  photos  from  her  childhood ,    she  has  a  small  shoebox  filled  with  some  from  around  derry ,    some  of  which  were  taken  around  the  events  of  It’s  awakening .    these  include  photos  of  the  neibolt  house  as  well  as  one  of  the  storm  drain .

        blonde  head  bobbing  noticed  from  down  the  street ,    a  new  sudden    pep  in  her  step    as  olivia  jumps  from  the  curb  and  skips  across  the  street .      ❝     hey  there ,    jellybean ,    where  y’been ?     ❞      jacket  shrugged  onto  her  shoulders ,    crisp  autumn  morning  prickling  her  cheeks  as  she  approached  gabriella  waiting  at  the  bus  stop .    she  asks  the  question  like  she  didn’t    already  know :    if  it  hadn’t  been  for  the    overheard  conversation    between  their  mothers  the  night  after  they  brought  gabby  to  the  hospital ,    she  would  have  found  out  the  very  next  day .    shoulders  shrug  as  a  dismissal ,    fingers  brushing  hair  over  her  shoulder  as  her  hands  dig  back  into  the  warmth  of  her  coat’s  pockets .    elbow  nudges  friend’s  side ,    smile  growing  wide  as  a  chortle  falls  from  her  throat .      ❝     oh  my  god ,    gabby ,    you  should’a    seen  it ,    last  week ,    diana  goodman  totally    ate  it    in  the  cafeteria .    she  tripped  over  her  own    shoelace ,    i  thought  that  shit  only  happened  in    the  movies .    snapped  her  tray  in  half ,    sent    peas  ‘n  carrots    all  over  the  place .    you  would’a    busted  your  seams ,    it  was  so  funny     ❞      thumb  loops  through  bag’s  strap ,    head  tilting  from  shoulder  to  shoulder  in  attempt  to  keep  herself  warm .    uncomfortable  with  the  silence  between  them ,    a  feeling  completely    foreign    to  their  friendship .    olivia  can  remember  clearly  the  countless  days  that  they’d  been  stuck  inside  because  of  rain ,    their  imaginations  for  the    indoors    run  dry ,    laying  in  one  of  their  living  rooms  without  a  word .    it  was  comfortable  then ,    safe ,    and  now  something  was    different .    she  was  different ,    they  were  different .    teeth  chew  on  her  lower  lip ,    gnawing  the  flesh  there  to  a  sensitive  pulp  before  rolling  her  eyes  and  speaking    in  a  rush .      ❝     listen ,    i  know  you’re  not    nutso ,    so  let’s  just  get  past  that  awkward    bull    right  now .     ❞
