"Mhm, it’s really great there. I’d say I miss it, but I’m not staying here permanently," she replied, laughing lightly.

"My area was pretty safe, actually. I guess it really depends what areas, or wards, you live in. Some places would be more dangerous to live in than others."

        ----He raised an eyebrow. Did the girl move around often then? He was a little jealous to hear that, but he was sure he had perks to his own life that would make her jealous. Everyone had something that everyone else wanted.

            ❝You're going back to England, or off to somewhere bigger and better?❞ He laughed and shoved his hands in his pockets.

            ❝Do you stay in the 20th Ward most of the time?❞

As true as his words might be, Rue still felt unnerved. Considering the fact that Japan had some pretty advanced technology meant that it was possible that ghoul hunting technology was available.

"Ah, d-don’t worry about it..! I get nervous easily."

"I’m sure you have. It’s probably dangerous for others to travel out of the country.. Anyway, I’m from England."

        ----He nodded. It was understandable for her to be nervous, with Doves always lurking around a corner. Still, in the 20th Ward, he usually felt rather safe.

            ❝England! That's interesting. I think visiting would be fun, but.. Money is hard to come by, and I wouldn't know what there is to expect safety wise.. Did you like it there?❞

        ----❝Who're you, again?❞ One boy he recognized as a waiter from Anteiku, though the other two had either slipped his mind or never entered it.

"B-Because I’m a foreigner, right?" she asked, chuckling nervously as she scratched her cheek.

She froze at the mention of “ghoul.” Cerulean hues went wide as they averted their gaze to look around nervously.

"Don’t… don’t say it so loud."

        ----He looked around and shrugged. What would anyone do if they heard? He doubted that anyone would assume this innocent looking girl was a ghoul just become some teenager said the word around her.

            ❝Sorry, didn't mean to worry you. Foreigner, right? So where are you from? I've never met a you-know-what, from anywhere but Japan.❞

            Cocking his head to the side, he inquires, ❝You're a ghoul, aren't you?❞ With the cold he has, his sense of smell is just a bit off.
