III. i work full time - and often overtime - in a demanding field. activity will be limited. the best way to kickstart interactions is plotting ooc via discord or tumblr IM.
IV. i will follow and interact with multiple writers of a single character. everyone has their own interpretations and i love to see the different ways people connect with them.
V. i enjoy shipping, and i am a shipper at heart, but it’s not my primary goal. if it happens, it happens! if you’re interested in shipping, please never be afraid to bring it up.

how does eirlana handle being physically ill? how often does she end up coming down with something like a cold or the flu?

pretty predictably in the winter, eirlana will catch the kind of cold that lingers or maybe the flu, and she has a bad habit of accidentally making it worse than it has to be. more often than not, if she would start to rest when early symptoms started, her body would not have such a terrible time fighting the infection and it would not last as long as it does, but there is always work to be done, and extra hands needed in the alienage during winter.
she doesn't need to be forced to rest, but she doesn't rest until she nearly can't drag herself out of bed at all even if she wanted to. she will accept care and treatment without protest or complaint, but she's up again as soon as she's able.
after the joining, she no longer gets a yearly cold.

growing up she hides the mild resentment that comes with having too much responsibility too soon. always minding her cousins, always keeping them out of trouble, always getting them out of trouble. she loves them, so she doesn't complain, but in private she wishes she could have as much freedom as they do.
during origins, she hides how angry she is, how much despair she feels, and how much it's dragging her down. she hides how much she resents alistair foisting the responsibility of leadership onto her despite his seniority, especially once she comes to know him more.
what she guards the most is how much she wishes she didn't have to be the one to protect everyone else and how much she wishes someone else would protect her.

eirlana's most lasting impression is probably the ferocity with which she will shield her own and fight back. she is always going to step in to diffuse a situation, she is always going to defend someone she loves. she will put herself physically between anyone and anything to protect someone who can't protect themselves no matter the harm she might face.
