I am not sure if this is the proper way to post these ooc comments. But please forgive me if I am scarce the next few days. I will be spending the holiday weekend with family! Please message me if you would like to plot anything for Adriana or Sydney! For everyone who celebrates Thanksgiving I hope you enjoy your holiday!

A frown graced her features as soon as she heard the voice of Detective Moore, looking up at her with a polite smile. âDetective, what a pleasant surprise.â She spoke rather sarcastically. She leaned back, pointing towards the chair in front of her desk. âI was at home. Probably watching tv or working on one of my paintings.â Davina shrugged. âWhy? Why do you need to know, did anything happen?â She asked rather confused.
Oh, how Sydney detested that guarded hostile voice that some could not help but use in front of a detective. As if their mere presence suggested they were in trouble. Sydney returned her own forced polite smile. Door duty was perhaps the time that this reaction came out the most in others. âOne of your colleagues was mugged during that time. My partner and I are trying to see if anyone noticed anyone suspicious around the building between those hours. I understand no one witnessed the mugging, but we are hoping that someone would have seen something without realizing it before the event happened.âÂ

âDonât get me wrong, I love this time of the year but you know what I hate?â Brad looked at the person next to him in the store with his eyebrow raised. âHoliday shopping. I never know what to buy for each person. Giving gifts can be so hard sometimes.â
It was if he could sense her distress in choosing a gift for her coworker! Sydney glanced over with a expression that displayed for one moment the wonder if he could truly read her thoughts. âI hate white elephants.â She sighed as she set down the semi gag gifts that honestly fell flat. âThere is so much stress that comes bundled up in finding the perfect gift. Unless you are completely struck by inspiration I feel like I usually fall short.â It was such a telling sign of her frustration to fuss with her hair and tuck it behind her ears with a restrained force.Â
davinacarmichaelâ:
âAs you might have seen ⊠itâs past my office hours. Please come back another time or call before just entering..â Davina mumbled towards the person, who entered her office at the school. She was deep into paper work, not even taking a glimpse on who stood there, or what they needed from her.
As a whole, Ellingham was not a typically dangerous town. The crimes reported here consisted of lower-tier crimes. It was no picturesque super safe community as town hall loved to proclaim, but it was relatively safe for a city. Still, crimes did happen. A professor at the college had been mugged the previous night and she and Kay were on door duty with each professor at the college. âThis will not take long - Professor Carmichael.â Sydney consulted the sheet with each person and their room. âWere you here the previous night between the hours of 10:00 and 11:00?â

marigold poured out of the nightclub, the warmth from the booze and dancing in the packed area left her body as she stepped outside. it was well below freezing and her outfit was not designed for maximum warmth: her fuzzy sherpa jacket, covering up her basically just a bra top and just a pair of booty-shorts âcoveringâ her legs. her teeth chattering like wind up teeth toys, as she hugged her body for some warmth - she felt a presence behind her. she carried on and shivered out a, âif youâre a fan, or something, lookinâ to take a picture with me, nowâs not the moment.â while turning on her heel, stumbling a bit in the process. Â
It had been a late night at the station and visions of her bed danced in her head. Sydney could think of nothing better than to enjoy a lovely glass of wine before her bed called to her like a lost lover. Tomorrow she would get up and do the same thing again. There was such a chill in the air as she waited at the end of the block for a cab to ferry her home to warmth. How the girl survived the chill in such an outfit if it could be classified as such was very much beyond Sydney. Though, the sway in her steps was telling of the alcohol she consumed within the confines of the club. âIâm not a fan because I do not know who you are.â Sydney was in no mood to play to her ego. âHowever, I wanted to see if you were alright. Do you need any help getting home?â She may be off duty, but she still felt responsible for protecting her.Â

kay leaned against the wall next to the door, nursing his own mug of black sludge. he gave it a forlorn look, wishing he had time this morning to stop by the café and get some real coffee. he sighed and took a big sip of it, hoping the caffeine would kick in at least. he made a face at the taste and turned his eyes onto his partner.
â so, whatâs the plan? good cop, bad cop? pretend we already have enough evidence on him? prisonerâs dilemma? stare at him through a double sided mirror until he confesses? â kay said the last one with a pointed look at where sydney was sitting.
he took another sip of his coffee and grimaced. â maybe we should give him some of this coffee. heâll confess right away. â
Perhaps it had been nothing but a sweet dream, but Sydney was sure she had heard talk of a new coffee machine in the precinct. But she ached for one desperately as she sipped the horrid sludge that could not taste good no matter how one doctored it. She really needed to find a coffee shop that she could stop by before work each morning. Regarding the grimace her partner made she knew she was not the only one to feel this way.Â
âGood cop, bad cop could perhaps work. Prisonerâs dilemma would work too, I suspect that he would not fare well in prison. I think he is even aware of it.â She continued her observation and ignored his pointed look. âHe is stewing. That is a tactic in itself.â How her smirk peaked over the rim of her mug as she took another sip.Â
Oh, Kay was completely right! This coffee could certainly turn anyone to the confessional. âThis is horrible. Why do we continue to try to drink it?âÂ
How she desperately needed caffeine! Sydney would have have gladly held the coffee machine at gun point if it could produce better than the tepid brown liquid in her mug. With a sigh she sat down on the chair facing the double sided mirror and watched her perp shift in his seat. He was handcuffed to the table and she had brought him in earlier for charges of stealing cars. The door opened, but she did not glance over to see Kay come in. âHe is being quite stubborn and keeps claiming to be innocent. I know he did it, however I am trying to get him to name his accomplices.â Sydney updated him as he joined her to observe her perp.Â

â · · · SYDNEY MOORE has been in Ellingham for 29 years and they look exactly like PHOEBE TONKIN. Having turned 29 years old on their last birthday, they are currently a DETECTIVE and ARE HAPPY WITH THAT. Known as the ACTION GIRL, itâs no secret that they're LOYAL & CARING, but also GUARDED & STUBBORN. If youâre to meet them, please remember that they are CIS FEMALE and use SHE/HER. { GIGI + 24 + SHE/HER + CST }
Sydney only enjoys being called Syd when it is by someone she likes
She is currently Kay Harrisâ partner and works very hard to keep him out of trouble and to not kill him herself on occasions
Her father was a police officer and she witnessed his death as a child. He had been picking her up from school when there were reports of a robbery in progress. He responded and was shot when the suspect was trying to flee.Â
They never caught who killed her father and she wants to catch him herself.Â
She has lived her entire life in Ellingham and quite enjoys the town.
While she does take her job very seriously and prefers to uphold and follow the law, she is much more relaxed when she is off duty.
Graduated top of her class in the academy and has a deep-rooted work ethic that was instilled in her to battle the boyâs club mentality of the police force.
Currently she looks at the adoption website when she is in a glass of red wine too many and has to talk herself out of adopting a dog or cat.
Please feel free to reach out to me, I am very open to plots!
