i’m thinking about beginning to camp in a hammock nest and let go of tents… :) does anyone have experience with travelling & camping in a hammock (with mosquito net & impermeable tarp) instead of a tent?

I switched to mostly sleeping in a hammock while camping with my scout troop. Have no regrets and usually sleep great. I've gone down to high 10,s with a self inflating air mattress and a mummy bag fully unzipped and used as a quilt. As mentioned above weight is about the same as a tent, but for me it's much more comfortable.
