Guys I think something is wrong with my Tumblr because I keep getting the pumpkin from Halloween instead of the Christmas version 😭
GUNDAM HGUC MSM-07 Z'GOK
It ... it looks .... it kinda looks like he has forgotten to put on a shirt ... but still wore gloves.
... Bare-chested mecha ready to bust some metal skulls.
Anyway, this was a quick little build. Somehow managed to cut out the wrong pieces a few times (been feeling a bit under the weather and such excuses) but overall ... solid design. Very flexible and ...
GODDANGIT ... PUT ON A SHIRT, Z'GOK!
I have never seen a kit with so little amount of runners! I mean, it's an older kit from the OG anime, but ... WOW! This might be less than an hour.
Edit: it wasn't...
Anyway, guess the Kit!
Decided to wait with the MG Heavyarms and do the RG Tallgeese instead.
I haven't done an RG build in a while.
Let's see if this one breaks the curse where something goes wrong with the Real Grade Kits.
FULL MECHANICS GUNDAM 1/100 GAT-X370 RAIDER
I had a lot of fun building this one, and it was my first full mechanics.
Pretty straightforward build, despite a few moments of frustration where the things wouldn't cooperate. He's a bit ... wobbly on its feet. The FM gimmicks don't really help sometimes.
Decided to keep him in its transformed form, just for a bit of variation among the collection.

FINALLY! A SEARCH OF NEARLY 2 YEARS IS OVER! I'VE GOT HIM!
...
And now to save him for months before I actually build him.
I need some expert advice from my fellow builders!
So ... I've recently learned that I'm going to have to move within the next couple of months.
I, uh ..., have quite the collection. What would be the best way to pack them? Do I rake one big box and pray to the Lord of Nubs that they survive the trip? Do I bubble wrap 'em?
Anyone who had some experience with moving their collection, I appreciate your stories.
HG PAILDRAMON
Man, I do love a Digimon model kit, and this one was pretty fun to make ... kind makes me want to watch the anime again ... dub or sub, I don't know.
Not much to say about it, it was fun to build. Very happy to have him in my collection ... and I'll add Imperialdramon very soon ... ish.
MG XXXG-01D2 Gundam Deathscythe Hell
I'm a bit late with this one. I've finished this one a few weeks ago, so ... better late than never.
One of my hobby goals is to own a Master Grade of every Gundam of Gundam Wing, maybe even both versions of them. The Deathscythe has always been one of my favorites when I was watching the anime as a kid - no idea why, probably the scythe and Duo being a great guy. The Heavyarms is my absolute favorite, though, because of it being 85% guns. Still on the hunt for that MG, but I think I've found it - can't buy it yet, though.
Since it's been a few weeks ... I've forgotten a bit about the building process and what happened, but I remember that the wings were giving me a lot of grief.
Too bad I couldn't pose him with the scythe, but the wings kept him toppling him over.
Anyway, I had fun making this one.

NRX-055 BAUND DOC [Titans Prototype Transformable Mobile Armor]
Not much to say, this was a very enjoyable kit to make. I do enjoy a good non-humanoid kit from time to time, but man, does this guy have a big badonkadonk.
Didn't try out the space-ship mode, I do enjoy robot-mode too much.
[Well, tomorrow I'm going to a convention and I'm looking to buy some new kits, so let's see with what I'll be able to come home with.]
I completed an entire kit from start to finish yesterday.
Am I really going to make another one today?
...
Yes. Yes, I am.
HG RX-78AL ATLAS GUNDAM (GUNDAM THUNDERBOLT Ver.)
Once again, for some reason, this was a start-to-finish, no-break build. ...scratch that, I know the reason. I'm going to a convention this weekend, and I'm anticipating a haul of new kits. So I'm trying to make as many kits as I can this week, to clear out the backlog.
Anyway, to the 'review'.
I'll admit, the whole ski-thingies were the main reason I bought this guy. Also, the color scheme just spoke to me. (Big white Power Ranger vibes)
This was a pretty fun build, no problems at all - which was surprising because I really thought that those ski-thingies were gonna F### with me.
Anyway, have some pictures of Atlas getting the hang of his skis and almost doing a split.

Guess the kit - HARD MODE
Hey if you're in the US you can check out Hobby Town, they're pretty good with their gunpla selection
I'm European. The sites where I can order them online, and get them delivered within a reasonable amount of time are ... limited, but I'm not complaining.
But you have to be careful. I know one webshop where you have an incredible amount of choice - no MG Heavyarms though - but the prices from some of the kits are ridiculous. They sold a kit for €38, but on another site it was - get this - around €9! So I rather stick with the few trusted ones I know.
Honestly, I would order from the US or even Japan, if the shipping cost wouldn't hurt my wallet so much.
Thanks for the suggestion, though.
I'm sad
I JUST got a mail from the site where I ordered the MG Heavyarms. They can't deliver the item anytime soon and suggested I'd cancel the order all together, so I can get my money back.
So, I'm gonna do just that.
I'm ...just sad.
The quest for owning a MG Heavyarms continues.
I'm going to a convention this weekend, where I usually buy some kits. Maybe ...maybe I'm lucky.
