  “So you’re our elder.” Rias concluded, “Huh, the more you know. I know not everyone here is human but wow, that’s a long time for fighting.” He seemed amazed. “But you’re right... that’s like saying wild animals would be pets. Except almost all are pretty extinct...”

  “I don’t believe Malekai would be okay fighting in general.” The Boss sighed. Alix nodded in agreement, “I think he shouldn’t be fighting for a while, he might get reckless.”  “And we can’t have him dying.” The Boss shook her head, “Anyway, you’re all dismissed. Alix, show Ayame around, I don’t believe she’s seen the entirety of this base yet.” Alix nodded again in response, then looked at Ayame and waited at the door.

..uh well, im back from my hiatus... more under the cut 

aside from personal issues, such as depression and whatnot, there was a lot of family problems as well as drama around my in-real life friend groups.. it was stressing honestly and i got sick more often than i shouldve

ive also been focusing on college as well, luckily its summer soon so i should be much more active from then on out

i feel bad for leaving without a word but i didnt have the time and i really needed to take care of everything before it got worse, but ill get to replies right now

　 　 He’d usually refuse to gain a promotion, aside from raises, since being upfront with the customers wasn’t his best trait in the work area. He’d fumble with his words and flush when he makes mistakes... 

　 　 “Ah,” He paused and thought for a while. “Hmm, usually what the other likes? Does your friend have something he likes in particular?” He asked.

            minako hadn’t thought of her as a beggar when she first saw the girl – although she didn’t look well at all, but the blonde had just assumed she was sick or something of the sort. quickly tying up her hair in a high ponytail so it wouldn’t bother her, the girl tilted her head, watching her for a moment. “ it’s okay, you don’t have to repay me. want me to help you walk? you can lean on me ” she paused. “ is there a reason you don’t want to? ” 

　 　 The girl was rather thin, pale and covered in dirt. She frowned a little more, sighing. “I have to repay you. It’d be against my morals...or something like that.” She was conditioned to repay whoever helped her, even if it was minor. Family’s orders; rules they set to make sure we were disciplined children. She didn’t answer right away, and mumbled, “Just cause.” Before trying to stand up.

A person? That was a strange word to address someone. “Yes, I have.” The brunet nodded, still finding a bit strange by her previous question. 

“Is there something that I can help you, miss…?”

A sigh of relief. She was finally getting somewhere... Hopefully.

“A-Ah, yeah. Uhm..” She thought for a while, not sure how to word her dilemma. “C-Can you. Can you help me find a place to live?” Straightforward, as usual.

She contemplated what he said while slowly chewing another bite of the meal. “It’s like…” Lucia started speaking with her mouth full but then paused to swallow before continuing. “Like the beginning of a movie or somethin’! Maybe he’s somethin’ super powerful and if the curse is lifted then he’ll give you a reward for helpin’ him out! Did he ever say what he was before he was cursed?”

He thought for a bit, then paused. “He did mention looking for someone, though I’m not sure who they are.” He said, “Said he was cursed because he disobeyed rules or something, so he’s now a. Cat-thing, I suppose.” He sighed a little, “I don’t have any leads on how to help him though, he rarely talks to me.”

            eun-mi hadn’t thought this first once she left home. she had taken most of her family money with her ( which wasn’t much to begin with ) but most of it was used to pay off the guards so she could leave and now… well, she didn’t have much left and finding work hadn’t been easy for someone like her. “ i-i just… want to give a friend something… ” even if she had no idea what.

　 　 Finding a stable place to work was rather difficult at first, since he had little to no work experience. The only thing he was rather decent at was manual labor and magic, though he couldn’t just use the latter, it’d definitely get him into trouble. He luckily found a job around Christmas actually, and stayed there doing the heavy work. “Oh, I see.” He nodded as he let her in the store, “Do you have any particular thing in mind?” He asked.
