Remember that the Freedom Flotilla... was unable to reach Gaza, but it tried, and the message and voice reached the entire world. The free people of the world stood against America and Israel for the sake of the oppressed in Gaza, and they were not afraid of arrest and threats for the sake of humanity.

Global Sumud Flotilla activists still under Israeli detention — including French politician Emma Fourreau, Brazilian activist Thiago Avila, and TRT journalist Sumeyye Sena Polat — have declared a hunger strike.

While 137, seized at sea, arrived in Istanbul yesterday, after trying to deliver aid to besieged Gaza, others remain in detention, protesting via hunger strikes.
