I'm Back. Starting with...
I havenāt been on here in a while. And the truth is, Iāve been afraid of tumblr. I deleted it off of my phone and stopped using it. Life has a crazy way of changing and changing YOU. Thatās whatās been happening to me.
Iāve realized a lot of things in the past few months.
1. Iām EXTREMELY sensitive to the things going on around me.
2. I was way too comfortable with giving into the temptations of the devil.
3. I can come off as extremely judgmental.
4. I donāt need to be right all the time.
5. Iām not GOING to be right all the time.
6. God is not like us. He judges in a way that is pure and holy and coming from a place of helping you be a better person.
He does not except us to be perfect. He expects us to try. And by try, I donāt mean try to be perfect. He expects us to try our best. When I mess up, He doesnāt expect me to throw in the towel and give up. He wants me to shake it off and get off my kneesā¦
God is smart. He does everything for a reason. A GOOD reason. And if God allows me to go through something, Heās more than likely kick-starting a change in me. Iāve been through a lot in these past few months, some of which, I wish I could take back. Some of which, I wish I didnāt have to go through. Some of which, I prayed that God would take from me.
But I get it now. Everybody goes through something.
From:
bullying, abuse, bad relationships, problems at home,
To:
Losing your record label, people losing faith in you and your craft, the people who are supposed to be working with you are really working against you.
Iāve had my share, guys.
But I realized that through everything. Through all the mistrust and the struggling and the fighting for myself and what I knew to be right and not losing my heart and my faith along with everything else, it was my FAMILY. They were the ones who were there for me and who still are. They helped pick me back up and they picked themselves back up and weāve gone on as a family an as individuals.
And I say again. Iām not expected by ANYONE, not even God, to be perfect. Because the one spirit to ever walk this earth that was perfect, is Jesus. And it was only possible for him.
Guys, Iām back and I want you guys to know that any struggle can be overcome with the love of the Lord.
Now, I donāt know everything about the bible and I canāt refer back to it in every situation. But there is a scripture in the bible that always makes me so happy and it says that the Spirit that God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us love, power, and self-discipline. It says that God saved us and called us to a holy life - not because of anything that WE have done but because of his own purpose and grace. Thereās another one that says that God will not allow you to go through more than what he knows you can bare.
But Iāve realized something.. When you ask God why He is allowing you to go through certain things, look back at that verse because it really answers itself.
Yes, it does say that God wonāt allow you to go through more than what you can bare but He ALSO says that you can do ANYTHING through Him who strengthens you. That verse allows you every opportunity to rely, not on our own strength, but on the strength of God. Because with Godās strength, you win every single time.
