Monthly Update: June 2025
Hello Tumblr... It has been far too long. And for that, I am sorry.
But I intend to rectify this mistake! BEHOLD THE MONTH OF WORKINGS!!!
These will also be posted to Ko-Fi, but the full, in-depth updates will be over on my Patreon, PUBLIC to view! (Weekly Updates remain for subbed members only though).
This will be a spoiler free (hopefully), wrap up of the happenings for each month on the final day, whichever day of the week that may be, so everyone can see what progress is being made!
Business Plans: According to Australian Law, I am legally allowed to conduct my writing venture as a business, and am able to use the name The Dicepool Tavern for my business name!
Witch Child: From June alone, I have been able to upload 5 new Beta chapters of Witch Child, as well as releasing Chapter 1 as free to read for the public. It jumped from about 12k words on the 27th of May to 52.2k+ the 27th of June, and I'd like to keep pushing that number up and up! At this stage, I am looking at having the beta reading draft completed by Thursday the 26th of November, 2025. That's for AEST, you'll want to check your own time zones. The full book draft is going to be available to the Bartenders and Dealer's Choice tiers.
Fanfiction: Descent of San Fransokyo is underway once more, which is book 2 in my Legacy of Heroes Big Hero 6 series.
Pride Month: For Pride Month, I wanted to share some specific characters and elaborate on the representation in some of my works regarding LGBTQ+ marginalizations. I hope you enjoyed my 5 Mondays worth of public Patreon posts, and maybe next year (maybe being the key word here), I'll have a better setup for event participations!
Social Media Prompts: On Bluesky I started engaging in 5 different daily prompt activities that focuses on various aspects of a creative piece. Now that June has come to an end, I think I will drop from 5 prompts to 3, depending on what July has in store.
Social Media: I created a website for myself via Caard this month, to bring all my links to one place. I've also created a Ko-Fi page mostly for writing commissions if anyone is interested, but one time donations are a little bit easier to manage over there as well.
Weekly Events: I am glad to see that my art is already slowly improving with my weekly DiceRoll Art events, specifically my humanoid headshots. I love having them because it's a stress free, no pressure, weekly goal that I can keep up even with a shifting schedule. Honestly, the Sit'n'Snack Saturday ends up being harder because getting time to myself on a weekend is not easy. But! I still want to encourage everyone to join in, whether its over on my Discord with me or on Bluesky (I'll even try to remember to post here, on Tumblr as well for them!), any and all snacks for selfcare and relaxing, as well as art or fanart of any level, is greatly welcomed and appreciated.
Reminders: Witch Child chapters aren't the only thing hiding away in my Bookshelf collection! There is also The Arche House: A Prim and Proper Welcome, which is set in the same continuity as Witch Child. Both are Voices of Vethera storylines, and I'd love some feedback on it as I continue writing more of this fictional reality I call my creation.
I hope next month I'll have just as much to report, but for now I'm happy with where I am at creatively, as I'm producing more and still enjoying the process throughout. I am currently working 2 casual jobs however, so my free time will be a little less common, so I am trying not to have my expectations too high for July!
