Sora’s throat closed up at the sight in front of him. Was this what you’d call a rainy day’s apparition? Last he’d seen of Spit, the man had been another body in a pile of bloody parts. On that rooftop… he was gone.

The chair squeaked as it moved, wheels rattling over the wet pavement. He wasn’t going to give life to this memory today. It didn’t bear thinking about; Sora didn’t believe in ghost stories.

My fingers slipped into my pockets, finding a small candy wrapper from before. I snapped it into a ball, flinging it between my fingers. Silence? That was all he could say? After all this fucking time, that was it? "I’m more living flesh then the way you left me, so don’t think I’m haunting you," Even if I wanted to, there was no chane I’d spend the rest of eternity with Sora. 

I glanced down at his legs, sigh slipping from my lips. He trapped himself in that chair, but he was free. He was more free then I could ever be. He wasn’t like the rest of us, he had been above, even from the start. Maybe that was the point- this was a attainment for sinning. But he lived on a montain of betrayal and death, it wouldn’t mater if it grew a little larger. He was its king after all. But nearly rising up a god and falling far beyond their imagination, maybe that’s what did it for him. To wake up.

Did he really seem like the kind of guy you'd approach for directions? Sora didn't move from the metal post he was resting on, but shifted so that the leg of his jeans hitched up.

"As you can see," he called down to the unwelcome visitor, gesturing to the visible part of his ATs, "I'm not here to deal with tourists. Take it somewhere else, dumbass."

Maybe she had been quick to jump to the conclusion that he was helpless, but she had never met anyone in a wheelchair before so she had no way of gauging what he was capable of. “What were you planning on doing? Running over their feet?"

"You’re hilarious." She commented, not believing for a second that he was intimidated by the group. “Besides, I’m not going to pick a fight with them unless they start something."

From the sounds of it, this girl didn't recognise him. Not that he was particularly surprised-- even he sometimes struggled to connect the famous stormrider he used to be with this guy who couldn't reach the top shelf of his kitchen unit. For now, he assured himself.

He glanced at her feet, her legs, comparing her form to the usual build of an AT user. She wasn't as wimpy as he'd first judged her to be, apparently, but he couldn't see any tell-tale signs of a rider in her. Maybe she really didn't know him after all.
