LEONARD SNART.
Len didn’t know what went down between the other man and whoever this Neal character was, all he knew were little details here and there. He never really pried because he assumed that was his own personal business and he didn’t really expect the other to explode on his as much as he had done. Later he would make sure to look into it.
He expression quickly shifts to one of absolute seriousness. “Careful there. It might be best if you keep your anger in check. Wouldn’t want you to be a liability.” Pissing him off might not be the smartest idea right now, after all, he didn’t really want to have to find a replacement for him at such short notice. “If you’re gonna work with me I have to make sure you’re not going to snap like that while on the job. Can I count on you being professional?”
it’s unusual for keller to snap like that. what can he say? neal is his kryptonite. hands stationed at his hips, he nods. he knows what happens to people who choose to stop working with leonard snart. there’s no point in owning nine million dollars if he’s too dead to use it. maybe if he takes a breather and comes back, he won’t be so touchy.
“’course you can.” no apology. he isn’t one to say he’s sorry until it’s absolutely necessary, and even then he doesn’t really mean it. what’s there to be sorry for? keller is extremely good at looking out for himself and no one else; life is just a game of survival and he won’t lose just to be polite. “won’t happen again. just leave caffrey outta all this, a’right? what happened with me and him’s in the past. it won’t affect our partnership, snart.”
