Blade's bodhisattva symbolism and imagery means so much to me. He has multiple elements of Buddhism in his story and design, like the prayer beads, the flames and his ult transformation that evokes the Wisdom Kings. But him forging himself into the ultimate prison for Shuhu, and the way that reflects how a bodhisattva is someone enlightened who has delayed their own nirvana in order to help those who are suffering, is just so beautiful.

Assumption is made due to its energies oddly resembling the one before him, although the nature of their connection is beyond what the swordsman can initially discern.

The curiosity the kuuhenki regard the world with ... it mirrors her own , does it not ? She has yet to travel Teyvat & see it all through her own eyes , and any indicators of its peoples upbringing — their clothes , the melody of the words they speak — are entirely lost on goddess still finding her footing . Kuuvahki within the people of her home is easy to sense , no matter how averse they may be to it . Thus , it is equally simple to notice when one she meets is not from Nod - Krai : the moonlight does not shine throughout his veins .

Kuuhenki carry forth with the excitement she does not outwardly convey , dancing 'round with childlike glee at the very idea she may hear his tales beyond the border of their little world . Little ones serve as a branch extended before she may even guide them ... though , it's unlikely they would cease approach with interest so high .

It is not the potential for attack that concerns him. He is more than capable of defending himself against any threats from the wild — or indeed simply enduring without retaliation. What settles heavy inside him is a desire to not disturb nature's peace. Something about this land has blunted the edges of that which he normally has to struggle against within to control.

To shatter that serenity like glass would feel like a loss.

He does not correct the kuuhenki's conveyed assumption, instead accepting the statement with a small nod. "Deer in Liyue tend to be magical creatures.
