artist statement below:

in this self-revealing piece i show the party girl in all her glamour and self-hatred. glamour is her armour and the addiction is her shame. queen of the dancefloor, goes home alone and snorts lines till sunrise, the warmth rushing through her veins reminds her of being held as a baby. she never knows when to call it a night. she will do it all over again next week.

toxic club bathroom romance

Your art always speaks to me in so many ways. I struggled with addiction, messy bonds, and so much more. To see someone bring to life the feelings of these things and make it into art is immaculate.

Every time you post a piece that I relate to, I smile and shed a few tears of mixed feelings down my face. Tears that are happy in the sense that someone else understands and can transform these emotions into art, and tears that are saddened and enraged that people like you and I have been hurt and damaged. We didn't deserve any of it. You didn't deserve any of it. You are surviving, and that's what matters.

For everything you've lost, I hope you gain something twice as better. Some things can't be replaced. You can NEVER be replaced. Keep your head up. You have a big heart and eyes that have seen it all. Much love.

hi there, thank you for this heartfelt message. it means a lot to know people connect and feel seen by my work. i hope you’re at a better place and can reflect on that pain in past tense. it’s interesting that you feel rage and pity, because neither of those emotions drive my work. if anything, i have a masochistic longing for those experiences. i think desire would be the main emotion, for me.

heyyy I know it's been a bit since you made death note art but I just wanted to say that I'm OBSESSED with that one slasher au fanart. I love L's tired expression, it feels totally realistic and emphasize by the camera flash. i considered writing a short fic about it or something lol (dk if I'd have the time.) anyways, it prompted me to check out your recent art, and I absolutely love what you've made. it's strange because I've never experienced drug addiction or party culture, and it seems our friendship fallouts were for very different reasons. however, it's spoken to me in a way I'm not sure about. I hope you're doing well, and I hope you continue to make art about whatever you'd like, cause all the results I've seen are amazing<3
