also not to flex but these were all drawn left-handed in like ten minutes each lmao (my professor wanted us to create a body of work using a set limitation)

EROTICIZE//DEFORM//EVISCERATE

one of my assignments for school recently was to pick three words from a specific list and make a piece for each of them, however we chose to interpret it. I decided to try and make mine a set (mostly) and I rlly like how they turned out :)))

I wanted to focus on the human body and how that concept sort of connects all three words in some way, mixing the potential for beauty and the grotesque together :D

I also ended up unintentionally adding even more to that theme by deciding I wanted to physically get my hands into every single one of them, so that made them all really fun to do :) I loooove just smearing shit all over the canvas with my hands it feels so freeing and grounding at once, especially as someone who’s almost exclusively done digital art for years.

also I don’t usually name my pieces but I’m trying to get into the habit of it so two of these do actually have names, the first one with the dogs is titled Chimera and the self portrait with the tree rings is called Fire Scars :))) it’s a representation of age and how we grow around the traumatic periods in our life <3
