Having complete and total control over your child is going to cause deep rooted issues that can take years to address. For me, it was authoritarian control and micromanaging. I am 27 years old and I cannot function without someone telling me exactly what to do, exactly how to do it. Step by step. I am almost helpless without constant supervision. You can imagine how successful my adult life has been.
Have you experienced micromanaging? How are you dealing with it?
