The mechanic’s very human heart all but skips a beat when he’s suddenly pulled into a kiss ( and, mind you, he’s only a little dirty from the work, so no need to worry about that ), and the moment he’s let go there’s stars in his eyes. Honestly, with how the boy acts, you would think Leo would fit in a cartoon episode so well. Just add floating hearts around his head and he’d be good to go.

A laugh escapes his breath. A good morning, indeed. “ …Hi. ”

Another soft laugh is dragged from the music director as Leo gives a surprisingly very toony response to the sudden good-morning kiss. “How are you, Starlight? Good? You’re dirty...” That’s normal for Leo’s line of work, but that doesn’t stop Sammy from thumbing dirt away from his cheek.

He’s still so pretty to him, even under grease and grime.

Hands clasped behind his back, the director is humming one of the show’s songs under his breath as he walks the halls of the studio, keeping an eye out for a certain mechanic. And how he smiles when he sees him, before going over to him. Without warning, Sammy turns Leo to face him, and leans down to pull him into a kiss.

When it breaks, he leaves his hand on his cheek. “... good morning~”

SEMI-HIATUS

Yeah, I think we all knew this was coming. I have no energy for this blog at the moment, no matter how much I want to RP Bebe. I can’t bring myself to.

That being said, this is only a SEMI-hiatus for a reason. If you want to tag me in things, or send in starters via the ask box or tagging me in them, but I may not respond, and I will not be reblogging memes or posting starter calls.

I just have no will to initiate, and I feel like the more I actively force myself to stay here the less my muse for Bebe will return.

So let’s just hope it comes back quickly.

“L… Lovesong… Heh…” Well, of course Sammy is getting a kiss for that, and also because Wally… really doesn’t want him trying to stand up until he can either carry or guide him home. That feeling that he should be more flustered than he is, at the moment, is still there as well but working would help with that.

“Ah’ promise ah’ won’t be long.”

Just as promised, the rest of the janitor-slash-mechanic’s work takes about a half hour, before he’s clocking out and going back over to his boyfriend. “Aight… ya ready ta head out…?”

He kisses back almost eagerly, letting his eyes slip shut as he actually hums into the kiss, a soft, melodic sound. When he pulls back, his eyes are half-lidded and he rests an elbow on the table, cheek in his hand. He gives a soft hum of acknowledgement as the other leaves to finish his work, and Sammy shuts his eyes again.

Might as well daydream while he’s gone.

Once the other is back, Sammy stands up from where he was, keeping a hand on the table for the time being before he’s sure he can actually, steadily walk. When he said he’s done this before, he meant it. If Wally hadn’t been aware that Sammy had been drinking, it probably would be impossible to tell.

“I’m ready when you are, yes.”

“Heartstring… Honey… Love of my life… Why?” Seeing Sammy down the rest of his drink, basically doing something he, himself, would have done, didn’t help his concern. Goodness gracious, did it do the opposite in more ways than one. He’s never seen Sammy this… flirty, before.

At least he seemed in a good mood. “O… okay, can ya at least promise ya won’t try walkin’ till ah’ can help ya home? Please…?”

“Yes, yes I promise,” he says, waving a hand. “You’re worrying far too much, Lovesong. I promise I won’t try walking until you can help me home. But~ Only if-” He gives Wally a look- “you give me a kiss before you go. Then I will stay put.”

That’s a horrible threat.

“A…. Ah-” Sammy was drinking WHAT at work? Was the janitor actually the smart one, today? This seemed a little hard to believe and the music director having that Look on his face as he spoke didn’t help a thing right now. Man, if anyone would be no happy about this… it probably would be Henry.

“Dat’ sounds potent as fuck… Sammy, maybe ya should wait till we get home in an hour or so b… before finishin’ dat’?” Why yes, that is genuine concern in Wally’s voice. For more than just Sammy, since something about this felt like it was meant to fluster him.  “D… do we need ta go home oi’ly?”

Sammy just laughs and downs the rest of it in one go, mostly because WAlly told him he probably shouldn’t and he’s honestly a spiteful guy when he knows he won’t get hurt. “Nope. Because I’m fiiiiiiiine. We don’t have to go home early; just trust me. This isn’t my first time doing this.”

He gives Wally a look and chuckles. “It is potent as hell. But don’t worry. I finished up my work earlier, so there’s no need to go worrying about whether or not I’m going to be writing songs while hammered. Just continue your work; I have something I want to ask when we get home.” The fact that he puts the popsicle back in his mouth after saying that in that tone probably implies what he wants to ask.

Sammy looked at his boyfriend when his cheek was kissed, and he pulls the popsicle out of his mouth slowly as he looks at his drink.

Well. If there’s anyone he can tell he’s drinking on the job, it’s Wally.

“It’s called a graveyard,” Sammy says, pointing to the glass with the popsicle before putting it back in his mouth for a moment to give it a suck. There’s a slight pop! as he pulls it out this time; now he’s doing it seductive on purpose. “It’s a mix of... a lot of various alcohols. Vodka, rum, gin, tequila, triple sec, whiskey, scotch, lager, and stout to be specific. It’s-”

Sammy giggles.

“It’s reeeeeeeeally strong.”

“Mmh... I may go get a milkshake after work... Perhaps treat Lizzy? Lord knows she deserves a treat for watching Annie for me so often...”

Inspecting the damage, Leo manages to stay quiet despite how obviously upset he is about all of this. He doesn’t want Sammy to keep putting up with this, because he doesn’t deserve it, but instead he hums softly as he takes care of his boyfriend. Experience has taught him how to handle a first aid kit, and thank goodness for that.

Finally, the kleptomaniac pauses, looking over Sammy, and then lets out a soft laugh as he goes back to work. “ Ya look like how I do after a bad scrap. ”

The musician only flinches every now and then as his wounds are cleaned up, other than that his only focus was on trying not to cry because goddamn did he want to. Seriously, there were tears welling up in his eyes, but all Sammy did was rub them away with the heel of his free hand, trying so hard to hold them back.

When Leo paused to look over him, Sammy looked at him in turn and his soft laugh got the musician to crack a smile. “Do I...? Surely you pull off the battered and bruised look much better than I do.”

“Yup! Our home!” There’s a chuckle and Wally let that bright smile loose. He was serious about this, for sure. Day after day, he was only more and more sure of his feelings and this? This is what came of it. Everything that was his was Sammy’s as well and she’d share his life with Annie too. As much as his dumb ass could with a child, anyhow.

“Ah’ love ya and anythin’ dat’s mine is yer’s too, Sammy. Ye’re absolutely free ta call it ‘our’ or ‘yer’s,’ and ya don’t gotta do dat’ permission stuff, aight?”

He felt his face flush redder at Wally reaffirming that what was his was Sammy’s too, and he was sure his heart would burst with how much he loved this dumbass.

Well... He did say what was his was Sammy’s.

The music director grabs Wally by the shoulders and tugs him close, wrapping his arms around him and humming happily. “Mine~”

“Haha! Yes!” Wally swore on his life that he would make this the best Easter ever for both Lawrences! They deserved a fun day and a nice diner at the end. The cogs were already turning in the janitor’s head as Sammy cor another kiss on the cheek.

“It’s our home, Heartstring. We’re partnah’s, right? It’s only fair dat’ ya get a say in what happens too. Same with Annie on some things. Ah’ wasn’t about ta do anything without askin’ ya foist.”

Seeing Wally so happy made Sammy’s heart swell with joy, and he chuckles softly. It was adorable, really; he could get so excited and worked up over things like this.

Having it be called their home thought brought a blush to the musician’s face, and a smile came across his face. “... our home...,” he mutters softly, finding himself unable to actually think about anything else for the time being.

“Weeeeell~” It’s an innocent chuckle, really; a sign that he meant well with this. Wally wanted to do something fun for Annie and maybe get something nice for Sammy in the process. “Could the ‘Eastah’ Bunny’ visit the house dis’ yea’h? Ah’ can take care of everythin’, if dat’ helps.”

The musician immediately catches on what Wally means, and he nods. “I think Annie would love that. And myself, as well.” He’s caught the implications.

“Besides... why are you asking me? It is your home, Wally. If you want the ‘Easter Bunny’ to visit then it is entirely up to you.”

The kiss back was gladly accepted and the janitor can’t help peppering his boyfriend’s face with kisses, before letting him up. Golly, Wally was affectionate today, wasn’t he?

“Sorry Heartstring, eh-heh, ah’ couldn’t resist. Ya looked a lil down and wanted ta greet ya the best way ah’ could.” A pause as he grinned up at Sammy. “Ah’ also wanted ta ask ya somethin’ regardin’ Mini Mallow and a coi’tain holiday comin’ up.”

Sammy laughed as he was peppered in kisses and let out a dorky, lovestruck little sigh as he was set back on his feet. “Well, that certainly was a greeting. What did you want to ask, Wally?”

He flinches at the tone. It’s not exactly what he expects, no, but he doesn’t say anything as Sammy yells. Better to let him have this one. He needs to let it out.

At least, he definitely sounds like he does.

Truth be told, every word he’s ever heard about Richard makes his stomach boil. And as much as he wants to hunt the guy down to teach him a lesson, he holds himself back and bites his tongue. Sammy needs him here, right now, not elsewhere. So he nods, offers a reassuring smile, and hurries off to retrieve the first aid kit from the infirmary.

He’s already opening it as he returns, setting it down on Sammy’s desk and pulling up a chair to sit beside him.

“ …Can I take a look? ”

While Leo is gone, Sammy lets his head hang and just tries to make himself calm down. His boyfriend’s soft question and the scrape of the chair legs on the floor got his attention, and he looks up at him. His right eye definitely is blackened, and there are so many bruises on his neck and left arm, more than usual on his arm.

“... yes,” is all Sammy says, quiet once more as he usually is. He can’t take care of the wounds himself, at least.

“Who do you fucking think, Leo?! Just who, pray tell, would hurt me and leave bruises and a black eye?!”

Oh, he’s pissed.

“IT’S RICHARD OBVIOUSLY! What’s his problem?! Is it because I have a partner who loves me instead of being single and miserable like his drunk, possessive, manipulative, abusive ass?! Or, or maybe it’s because I’ve been able to hold down a job since COLLEGE and he hasn’t had anything more than part-time since high school?!”The musician sits down at his desk to try and calm down and unravels the bandaging around his left arm, showing fading scars and more bruises. Worse bruises.

“… Can you get me the first aid kit, please?”

“N-Nobody!” he says, quickly going to cover up his face and hide his bruises. “I-I simply tripped, I’m cl-clumsy you see-”

No way he would tell a stranger what happened.
