memory unlocked: sleeping in the living room of a hotel room in wildwood (one of those shabby 60s ones that were like a little apartment) with my grandparents and my mom while my aunt, uncle, and cousin slept in the bedroom. being obsessed with "cola" by lana del rey after listening to it on the trip for the first time and praying that blaring it on my headphones wouldn't wake anyone up, especially because i didn't want them to hear the first line. the hotel wifi was shitty and i was trying to talk to my online friend but it kept cutting off and she thought it was cute.
